I’m new to the board and I must say I love it. It is great to have found a site dedicated to the sisters. I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for my wedding theme. My wedding is 11/4/06 and my colors are chocolate, mocha and ivory. Any help you may be able to provide would be great.
Welcome to the boards stdj1104, congratulations on your wedding. You are getting married exactly one week before me. My wedding date is 11/11/06. My colors are Navy Blue and Platinum. My theme is Victorian Elegance. I must say I love your colors and the sista hood helped me with my theme and I am sure we can come up with some great suggestions for you as well. Are you getting married in the morning, afternoon, or evening? How many guests do you plan to have? How large is your bridal party?

Thanks for the welcome. I noticed your date from other listings. I saw your beautiful bouquet. We are getting married at 5:00 in the evening. We are expecting 150 guests and have 8 in our wedding party. What about you?
I can't believe that we are 6 months out. Pretty much everything is done, just paying vendors. I just have to order my invitations, book a DJ and limo. The dresses should be coming between July-September.
We are having an "intimate" ceremony with only family and close friends. I am expecting 75 - 80 guests. I have 14 people in my bridal party (2 MOHs, 2 Bestmen, 4 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen, 1 flower girl and 1 ring bearer). I expect my dress in July -- I ordered it from one of our Vibride sisters, Phenomonique. I'm not sure what time our wedding will begin, because we are still looking for a venue. I would like to have the ceremony and reception in the same place.

You know what Charly? I went on a couple of invitation websites and they all had 5 o'clock in the evening. I called one place and they told me the correct wording is evening as well. When I watch the news, they say the 5:00 evening news. Hell, I don't know. I think I''m just going to have 5 o'clock post afternoon/pre evening. lol
