Hey DIAMONDS you are really on the ball. Thanks for sharing. My wedding theme is Victorian Elegance. I was originally planning to have my ceremony at a museum, now that is up in the air. What is your theme?

I'm thinking hearts and roses or something romantic like that.My wedding is in March so a Valentine theme is also an option since Charley has ben on the roll with finding me lots of great stuff......
Oh Oh the po po is on duty! (lol). We talked about endless love when another bride and I shared our stories of long-term love and if I remember correctly you made a comment about another endless love. As of 12/15/05 my theme has been Victorian Elegance. It was actually Bossie's suggestion for me. Since I was getting married in a museum, I thought it was fitting. (See post under Wedding Themes, "Something Other Than Tiffany". The ViBride sistahood came through for me once again! But you know we think alike anyway.

Okay I just thought of this...I saw a magazine cover last year with unique christmas theme!
For a "different", more "white christmas" theme how about:
Colors: Baby blue and white or All White (Silver or Gold Detail)
Location: At home, country inn or at church
Flowers: Any white flowers, white ponsiettas add "snow-covered" Christmas trees (Possible centerpiece?) and/or wreaths on reception or ceremony door
Special touches: White vanilla, pie or cookie-scented candles, egg nog, white russian martinis or kahlua drinks. White and baby blue M&M's, white chocolate covered pretzels and strawberries on the fruit trays and/or candy table. Bridesmaids can wear white fur shawl or carry a "crystal bouquet" or white flower arrangement with crystals in them, and baby blue dresses. Groomsmen: black suits or tuxedoes with baby blue details.
Favors: 1) Butter cookies wrapped in clear cellophane with a unique "label" with a baby blue ribbon. 2) Souvenier mugs with white chocolate flavored hot chocolate with marshmallows in a plastic bag. 3)Beautiful silver or gold (which ever is your accent color) ornament in the shape of a snowflake, star, angel, etc, with the couple's names and wedding date, along with a beautiful saying (I think this website has possible gift ideas for this)
Cake: All white, any shape (round, square, heart, octagon) with a lace or scroll design. Or try "snow or ice covered" (really its sugar)fruit. Try a design with the ribbon draping (someone had it on another post)....Of course the popular cake shaped like presents will work also.
