SeptBride: Gave me an idea. I would like to see your wedding cakes, if you have chosen it yet, if not the idea cake that you are looking at. Here are a few of my choices.

This is what my first wedding cake looked like in 1994 - couldn't afford more and it' was the exact same color.

Charly, your first cake was very nice. For the 2nd cake, will you have all of those cakes or just the one big one?

I want something a little more sophisticated, I do not like all those steps, waterfalls and ladders so that is why I have not posted what I want yet. Remember this my second and I am going for what I could not afford back then - I just can't find one but as soon as I do, it'll be here.

Charley there you go with the big words again......I didnt have to look that one up tho....I like that cake! Will your cake be that big? How many guest are you planning on having? you will be looking at cake for days gyrlie!

Niuque...Those small little purlpe cake are somewhat like the ones I wanted to get for my guest.In the post "making a cake" I was asking how much they cost and someone said $15.....is that true. From the picture and what I'm imagining the cake should be small enough to serve 2 people only. I like those but if it will cost more for the little cakes I will have to stick with a big cake.

I will be visiting some bakeries in Harlem next month. I would like to keep things simple. I don't like fountains and all that other stuff. Some pretty flowers and a pretty cake will be just fine.

I guess we three have that in common. As I stated earlier, my cake will have fresh flowers(roses). I don't want all the frills. I like things simple but elegant!

I guess I'm on the conservative side also. Or maybe I mean I would like it just to be simple yet elegant. Like with sea shells around it because of the theme.

We wanted a big cake because we have a lot of guest coming from out of town and in town as well, so we wanted to make sure that we had enough cake, just incase guest want to take some home or what 2nd.

I would do the wedding cake and the the edible shells. The dinner cruise that we will be on has all these desert trays so...... I am just going to get one traditional cake. I have an order for one at Publix because they have a cake called by the seashore but this one...... is georgeous!!!!!!

Copper you are forgiven (lol)!!! We all have spelling mishaps now and again, but I didn't notice until you said something (lol). DIAMONDS those are nice cakes. I like strawberrys too. My favorite of the six cakes is the last picture.
