Male Engagement
Posted on: 02/09/2006 02:20 PM
I want to get my friend an engagement ring. I have been searching online to see the different types. What is titanium? Lots of websites state that titanium is better for men? Could someone please help enlighten me???? Thanks

i12bys, that is a good question. I see titanium also, and I know it is durable, but that is about it. Where yall at ViBrides?

Titanium Era
Okay ladies. I went to the site and I added the link. Thank you very much. I love the information on this website. Actually, I am still reading through it. I want to thank you both for your cordial welcomes to the site. Have a blessed day!!!!
I also would like an opinion. Is Titanium the "In thing" now? I have never heard of it in jewelry before today.
Thanks again.

Welcom welcome welcome We always welcome a new sistah to the sistahhoos of Vibride.I hope you enjoy the site as much as I have in the few weeks I've been here.
For males that dont want the typical white/gold or silver Yes it is the new thing. I showed some of the rings to FH and he loved them. He's thinking about getting us some made for our big day! Instead of having alot of flashy diamonds we will have matching rings. He didnt like the ring that goes with my engagement ring, it's "not his style". THANKS CHARLEY for the site.......gyrl you gonna save me money if he decides on one of these over the others we were looking at.

Thank you alvinslove. I really appreciate the info. I need another piece of advice. My boyfriend is used to the finer things in life. There is no half stepping in anything. We were both going to pick out a ring but then he had a major financial issue come up that had to be resolved before March 17. I am going to buy him the ring, but I don't want him to feel insecure or at all that he can't do for me. Should I buy it or just wait until he is able to buy one for me?

If your heart is really set on getting it for him then there should be no reservation....Say to him that "it does not matter that you have not purchased one for me..I know your heart and that is what I feel in love with...I saw this ring and the uniqueness of it made me think of you so I had to get it for you".....he will love it and the gesture. I think it is wonderful of you to want to purchase it for him, he obviously means the world you, that's totally excellent.

Charly you have dropped another pearl of wisdom! i12bys, I don't think he would feel insecure about your jesture in buying the ring. Perhaps he will see that you love and support him during this financial challenge. In any event, I wish you all the best!

Don't worry girl, I got the Talking Buzz Lightyear to go with it. Ain't no half stepping! I put the ring on Buzz's finger and wrapped it in a Valentine's Day box.
