Happy New Year to all my sistas. I have to ask how many of us made NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION....OK OK, I'll be the first to admit that I made my own....do you want to know what it is?....well my New Year's Resolution is NOT TO MAKE ANY "NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION".....I mean lets be real....how long do we keep them anyway :-)
My New Year's Resolution is to enjoy all of the blessings that God has bestowed upon me and to always remember to "in all thy ways acknowledge Him & He shall direct your paths". (not so easily done, but with practice....) I am about to embark on a major event in my life, as long as I remember my New Year's Resolution I will be taking care to enjoy all that is wonderful in my life! Happy New Year Ladies!!!
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
It's not my New Year's Resolution, but it's the most common one made: to lose weight (to make sure I fit in that wedding dress) Need to do it now, so I don't have to worry about it later.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
Delight yourself also in the Lord & He shall give you all the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4
See, I'm with Rosetta, there's something about the word "resolution" that makes me cringe...I prefer to think of them as goals. Just like I'm allergic to the word diet, I prefer "lifestyle modification"...lol.
So my goals are to not sweat the small stuff (esp. those lil nitpicky issues w/DH) because life is far too short, to stop standing in my own way and definitely adopt a healthier lifestyle...eating better, exercising more and managing stress better.
** It doesn't take the whole day to recognize sunshine **
Exactly one month after making them.....how many of us (besides me and Niquey cause we didn't make any) have actually kept them...come on tell the truth and shame the devil :-)
To tell you the truth, I have been challenged a lot in an effort to keep mine. It hasn't been easy. Mine was to acknowledge God in all everything.... I have found myself worrying when I should be trusting God.
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
Girl I ain't worried at all...the devil is very busy and if you know how much of us christians go thru this same problem you would be surprised...just hold on and don't give up....go listen to some Donnie McClurkin :-)
OK I need help. I find it so hard to exercise. I guess what I need here is some good old fashioned will power!!!! I have no problem chilling on the couch or watching TV, but I better get it together, I have less than six months!
Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
