My New Year's Resolution is to enjoy all of the blessings that God has bestowed upon me and to always remember to "in all thy ways acknowledge Him & He shall direct your paths". (not so easily done, but with practice....) I am about to embark on a major event in my life, as long as I remember my New Year's Resolution I will be taking care to enjoy all that is wonderful in my life! Happy New Year Ladies!!!

It's not my New Year's Resolution, but it's the most common one made: to lose weight (to make sure I fit in that wedding dress) Need to do it now, so I don't have to worry about it later.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
Delight yourself also in the Lord & He shall give you all the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4

See, I'm with Rosetta, there's something about the word "resolution" that makes me cringe...I prefer to think of them as goals. Just like I'm allergic to the word diet, I prefer "lifestyle modification"...lol.
So my goals are to not sweat the small stuff (esp. those lil nitpicky issues w/DH) because life is far too short, to stop standing in my own way and definitely adopt a healthier lifestyle...eating better, exercising more and managing stress better.

To tell you the truth, I have been challenged a lot in an effort to keep mine. It hasn't been easy. Mine was to acknowledge God in all everything.... I have found myself worrying when I should be trusting God.

My New Year's Resolution was to lose 60 pounds and keep it off. Well I’m down 35 pounds since the begin of the year, and I’m very happy.

Girl, I wish! :-( I'm really going to quit. I started when I was 17 and didn't think I would get hooked. Bossie gets on me about smoking.

I kept mine! My resolution was;
not to say things that I don't mean
not to be spiteful
not to take things so personal:
This is just with the hubby.

Losing weight for me come easy, because I’m very active. I can’t just sit there and watch TV or just lay on the couch, I have to move.

OK I need help. I find it so hard to exercise. I guess what I need here is some good old fashioned will power!!!! I have no problem chilling on the couch or watching TV, but I better get it together, I have less than six months!

Askalot that would truly be a blessing. I don't know Jersey that well so you have to help a sista out as far as locations.
