I love this site soooo much. I love that whatever I am thinking or whatever questions I have, I can come right here and get great advice. My wedding colors are aqua and silver. I believe every party should have a theme, but the only thing I can think of is Tiffany, and that is so common. I need some suggestions on a theme I could use with these colors.
Bossy...I know what you mean but what else can you useeee?...I thought of "Breakfast at Tiffany's", what you should do is watch the movie and get ideas from it.
Beautiful colors nlbostic! When is your wedding? What time of day? What kind of wedding are you having? You say Tiffany is common, but I have never heard of a wedding theme called Tiffany. Anyway, give me some feedback on the above questions and then I(and the other ladies) will see if I(we) can come up with some suggestions.

Thanks Rhonda. My wedding is Friday, June 9, 2006. It's an evening wedding...starts at 5pm. We are having a very traditional church ceremony and reception. Thanks for the help
I love the time....it is perfect for candles and when candle hit silver the effect is wonderful and romantic so I would definitely stick with the "BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S idea.......it will be great!
I immediately thought about the Tiffany store with their signature aqua & silver packaging. If you choose to go with Tiffany as a wedding theme. I personally like "Forever Tiffany". But I will keep brainstorming & come back with some more suggestions.

Thats cute Rhonda. But what could I do as far as favors, and invitations. My cake will be made like stacked gift boxes and my save-the-date cards are 3-D ring boxes.
Breakfast at Tiffany IS about the Tiffany store starring Audrey Hepburn...it's an old classic and very romantic.........the theme is a METAPHOR just like the movie. Watch it and I am sure you can gather some really romantic ideas..you know Audrey Hepburn was a beautiful classical lady.
You are so creative Nlbostic. Your wedding cake will be so beautiful and your save the date cards --- cool! I was looking on MyWeddingFavors.com, under the unique wedding favors section and I saw a "Satin Silver Favor Box with Elegant Satin Bow". Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page. You can fill the box with aqua colored jordan almonds or what ever you like. Perhaps you might want to take a look and check it out. I just love your ideas!!!!!!!

You know, I just remembered, I don't have a theme myself. My wedding is in 11/06 at 1:00 in the afternoon. In an effort to save money we will be having our ceremony & reception in the same place (an art museum). I need help with a theme. I have changed my colors to navy blue & silver. (my old colors purple & gold didn't go over to well with my FH -- he wanted to have a say). Do you guys have any suggestions?

Rhonda, I saw the silver boxes. They are the cutest. I like your idea about filling them with aqua almonds. That just might work. I also though about filling them with hershey kisses in the silver foil. I found this site that makes stickers for the bottom of the kisses. Your picture is on it and it says "kisses from the Mr. & Mrs." Don't give me all the credit for my ideas. A lot of them come from right here. As far as a theme for you, how about a victorian theme? Call it Victorian Elegance. That would be perfect since you are having your wedding in a historical location. There is a whole article on victorian themed weddings on www.foreverwed.com

You could also fill silver favor bags with aqua M&M's and have ribbons printed with your names and wedding date. You can decorate the tables with aqua pillar candles and vaious size hurricane shades and add silver ribbons/bows to the hurricane.
