I love love this idea and I'm trying to have it done at my wedding in 2006 but it's in St. Lucia and they don't do it there...yet...but I'm working on it. Check it out, good luck!

Some people might think butterflies on the shoes? Well these were strappy sandals with 2 in + heal and rhinestone butterflies. I believe they were made by coloriffic. Married 5/27/2005...Glad it is all over!

I found a fantastic place for butterfly release they are called flutterby butterflies.They are based in Toowoomba and the web site address is www.flutterbybutterflies.com.
My wedding is in October next year and we have themed the entire thing around butterflies we are even having live butterflies in glass gardens as our centre pieces on the bridal table. I thought of this as cruel at firt but after we realease them. The entire wedding is going to be at woodlands marburg. Can't wait. Good luck girls.

Most places do not allow butterfly releases because they can wreak havoc on the surrounding flora and fauna. Their pupa stage can eat several hundred times their weight in leaves and fruit!
