Where did you Honeymoon: Honeymoon not decided yet (my mum has agreed to pay for this) but our first choice is a cruise, either round the Caribbean on Pacific Islands etc (Hawaii, Fiji, Seychelles and maybe Mauritius or Maldives)

Your Wedding Date: 6/14/08 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands (my hometown)
Your Wedding Theme and or Colors: "Caribbean Elegance: Love in Paradise"
Colors: shades of pink - watermelon and fuchsia; shades of orange - coral and tangerine; and a hint of sage green
Your First Dance Song: "At Last" by Etta James
Your Favors: We spoiled them! Personalized rose petal cones in our wedding colors to throw rose petals at us after the ceremony. The following had pesonalized labels: Black cake in tangerine and watermelon gerbera daisy boxes, guava/pineapple tarts and more wedding cake to go, jordan almonds in wedding gown boxes, and Mr. and Mrs. buttermints in tuxedo boxes. We also gave them tropical herbal tea (chamomile mango) packaged in our colors and small candles with our photo, names, and a thank you verse. Everything but the gerbera daisy boxes went inside personalized gift bags in our wedding colors. There were also more buttermints in our colors in small acrylic bowls on each table.
How many guest invited/attended: 70 invited/44 attended
Reception Food Style: full West Indian buffet dinner. I love choices!
The moment of the wedding you remember the most: our personal vows. I thought I'd cry but nothing but smiles.
Where did you Honeymoon: We spent our wedding night at the resort where we were married and the rest of the week in a rented condo with a gorgeous view next door to the resort. While there, we island-hopped over to St. John for more sightseeing and time at the beach. We're planning a trip to Europe in 2009, but you never know...other things may develop. :o)...already went to the Poconos, Maui, and Caribbean cruise together in 2007, so we've been honeymooning all along.
Your Favorite Wedding Planning Site: I used my personal experience and wedding planning books for the most part, but I love Vibride now.

Reception Food Style: Formal sit down dinner with salmon, steak or chicken.
The moment of the wedding you remember the most: There were two, the unity candle lighting when our children lit their candles and the moment my pastor said the obey part during the vows. My reaction was hilarious.
Where did you Honeymoon: we didn't really do a honeymoon. We just took a multi-state road trip to the Carolinas and Atlanta.
Your Favorite Wedding Planning Site: Although I peeped in on Vibride and the Knot from time to time, I really didn't use any planning websites.

Nothing much...Had the four-course dinner at the Melting Pot. When we got home, I had a huge bouquet of white oriental lillies, waiting for me (my fave!). This bouquet was rather extrodinary because the blooms were 4x larger than the normal size! That was enough for me :-D

The moment of the wedding you remember the most:The moment right before the doors opened to let me in. I remembered thinking "WOW I actually am about to get married to the man that I've loved for most of my adult life"...WOW..God's timing is perfect

The moment of the wedding you remember the most: exchanging vows..we opted for non traditional and included a line in there about loving eachother for who we are and who we are yet to become
Where did you Honeymoon: didn't get a chance to...my folks were in town for another 2 weeks after wedding :(

Soon, that's an impressive number. I plan parties for more than a 1000 guests on occasion but a wedding is another story. How long did it take you to plan? Did you use a coordinator? I saw some pics. Beautiful! You are TONED, sis! I loved your mom's gown too.
