Wow, Lolo, I'm speechless and for me that says a lot. I can see that a lot of thoughts have gone into your planning. I love everything I've seen so far. We brides of 2009 are FIERCE!!!
I can't wait as times unfolds to see how you got it all together. This is such a wonderful start. Oh and your venue, simply amazing!!!
wow girl everything looks soo beautiful i like ure diy invites . and ure centerpiece vase just blew me away. im liking ure idea of two dresses for the day i mite concider doing dat for me as well. spending the whole day with that big puffy dress mite not be soo comfy for me . soo at what point of the day are u planning to change to ure second dress ? just corious lol
New Year's event means more partying lol.The venue comes with a decor package,so all that u saw (+ the sparklers) is inclusive. All we have to get are the extras that we really want otherwise all is taken care of.They even do favours + programs!!
l found the inspiration board on katieandryanwedding.wordpress.com (courtesy of VIPrincessBride).l love the bow-tie shoes too but cant find them anywhere!
l plead guilty to being a shoes freak no questions asked!! l have thus decided to have my 'SOMETHING BLUE' as my bridal shoes.(inspired by SWEETP's coloured shoes idea). Here are a few ideas...
Another idea is to have the BM sign my shoes in blue ink.
Or be a DIY diva and stick blue rhinestones on the shoe soles.

I am loving what I'm seeing so far Lolo, but just one word of advice, remember that you will be on those shoes all night long, you want something comfy so you could party the night away as well. I love the something blue in the shoe idea. Keep it up!!!
Love the blue rhinestones on sole of shoe idea and I really like the signatures at bottom of shoe. That makes a really cute keepsake.
Lolo I think your favor idea of the black boxes with yellow ribbon is nice. How about doing a layered ribbon look. I'm thinking white ribbon size 5/8 against the black box and a 3/8 yellow ribbon personalized with black writing on top of the white ribbon. What do you think?
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
l can visualize it lol and that incorporates the whole colour scheme. Me like me like. What size favour box do u suggest? This sounds like another great DIY project added to the list!
LoLo, I love the idea of the blue. I wouldn't know if to do the rhinestones or the signatures on the bottob... SHOOTS... just do both of them. That would be a wonderful keepsake.
It might be hard to find but you might be able to find something blue and yellow like these:
These aren't blue but if you went with a guest book similar to the one above, imagine how cute a pic would be of you holding guest book while wearing these:
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
Diamondbride that first pair you posted is really cute. Especially if you're not trying to have too much blue.
Lolo the pair with the bow in the back and yellow undertones would look cute. As far as your ushers, those white, black, yellow shoes I posted would look cute with a black dress. I'm just not sure how comfortable they would be for some one with usher duties.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
These favor boxes are 2x2x2 and they are $34.99 for a pack of 100 on efavormart.com :
These favor boxes are cute also. The top cut-outs matchs the style of your inspiration board.
These were $25.99 for a pack of 100. Or you could even do something like these black and white polka dot boxes with a plain yellow ribbon.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
Wow I am so impressed with your pace- You really are completely organised!!! I tried to find out about those yellow shoes and read somewhere that they are from valentino's spring 08 collection!!http://perfectbound.blogspot.com/2007/10/take-bow.html
I am loving everything- from the Dresses all the way down to the favor boxes...what are you doing for actual favors??
Diamond I absolutely adore shoes 1 2 and 4
they remind me of Carries engagement shoes in SATC- a girl loves her manolos
I am doing the same thing- But I want to do something pink or gold to go with my theme
DiamondBride shoe #5 with the bow-tie wow Va Va Voom
l like pamcrow's idea of favour boxes with the 2 different sizes of ribbon. The catering package includes dessert (whether u decide to have it or not the price is the same). Therefore our favour will just be a slice of cake since the guests would have had dessert for dinner.
whilst flipping thru cakes l came across this Asian inspired/themed cake. The 2 cakes (gardens) represent 2 lives joined together by a bridge. l would love to modify it to suit our wedding theme and colours.
