Hello Divas!!!!
I'm Back and I miss you girls!!!
WOW... DETAILS HUH?.... WHERE DO I START?...
Okay, Ill start at the rehearsal... Things were a mess. We were supposed to be at the venue at 6:00 no later than 6:30. Rehearsal was scheduled to begin at 7:00 and end at 8:00. BUT, we were on CP time so it didnt start til about 8:30. I was furious. To top that off, we didnt get a good rehearsal in because of the time and the venue needed to lock up. So needless to say I was worried about rhe BIG DAY. Then we leave there and head for the church, where the diner was held. I get a call on the way there from my church member saying the spaghetti sauce was spoiled. Lucky for me, my wonderful Pastor stopped and got a couple boxes of chicken and had them run to the store and make another quick batch. All I could think about was "Things are not going well, what's going to happen tomorrow"
Well Tomorrow is here now...
The day started out well, everything was going perfect. I mean everyone just pulled together to make sure all appointments were done and believe it or not everyone arrived at the venue on time. I was really feeling good at this point. They even had enounh time to get a quick rehearsal in. I was so confident now that everything would be smooth sailing from there...WHY DID I THINK THAT?????
My coordinator was running around like crazy trying to get everything done. In the midst of all the girls trying to get dressed, the photographer trying to get pre-ceremony shots, and the videographer trying to film, OH and I cant forget about the small kids that were in the wedding, playing and getting in the way. Well, She came in to get the ring back from me after the videographer and the photographer finished getting the shots of both rings together with the flowers and such. I GAVE her one box with the ring in it and the other box with the kids jewelry in it for the Promise Ceremony. TELL ME WHY she comes back in my room 15 mins later asking for the ring again??? So we go back and forth in me saying I gave her the ring and her saying I didn't give her the ring. Meanwhile the girls are tearing up the room trying to find the ring. So now I' m crying because I know my FH (then) was going to tear that place up if we didnt find that ring.
So my MIL decided to go in the bathroom off to herself to pray, Then one of my sisters said to me, "I know I'm not supposed to go out there but I need to look for this ring" Honestly, I didnt care about nothing at this point, make-up, beauty, putting on my gown, I mean nothing.
BUT GOD!!!
Y'ALL!!!!My sister came back through that door with that ring and I screamed Thank You Lord.
Then my coordinator started crying because she couldnt believe she actually dropped the ring and didnt notice. She felt so bad because she swore up and down that I didnt give it to her. She said all she could think about now, was someone finding it and going straight to the pawn shop. We cried together for a minute then we prayed, hugged, and laughed about it then I kicked her out and told her to get back to work. I couldnt afford to dwell on it any longer because it was time for the ceremony to begin and I was half dressed.
Other than that, everything went according to plan.
OH YEAH!!!!! No it didnt...
So we're in the middle of the ceremony and my Pastor asks for the RINGS. I look over to my MOH and we both realize that the ring is still upstairs. LMAO (now not then)My coordinator was still upstairs so we're like, who's gonna go get the ring, some how one of my other sisters got my niece's attention and she ran up to get the ring.
SOOOO!!! after both ring fiascos, everything went on without a hitch.
THANK GOD...
I managed to get some pics from my neices cameras to share until the professional pics come back.
OH YEAH!!! Honeymooning in Vegas was great, we had so much fun I even won $80.00 on the penny slot machine, BUT my DH spent it at the Blackjack Table.(I'm getting my money back whether he knows it or not. LOL)We stayed at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino and I was so amazed at how they got the water fountains to dance to music. So pretty. OKAY...I Know...Enough Already....On to the pics...
I'll post them on a separate post.

Wow! everything was beautiful-in spite of the ring issues I am glad everything was perfect for you!
I am chuckling thinking about everyone tearing up the room looking for the rings...:)
also, I love the colors!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Ladies. I also forgot to mention that they did horrible alterations on my gown. I was pulling and tugging all night just to keep my girlies in. After a while I was like forget it. So on some of the pictures I had MAJOR clevage ( or more) LMAO. DH was not to happy about that. LOL
Wow, all I can say is beautiful. You look beautiful girl I knew you would. Congrats and good luck.
As far as the mishaps, I'm sooo happy you found your DH's ring. But don't feel bad because it seems that everyone here had some problem or another on their big day.
Wow! Everything was gorgegous! I really liked your colors too. Well in spite of the ring mix-up, I'm glad that everything worked out in your favor. If you hadn't told us about the messed up alterations, we wouldn't have even known that. That's just how good you looked (LOL!). Well congrats again!
Oh btw, your daughter looks just like you...

Everything is beautiful, CMT! You looked gorgeous in your gown. You daughter is so cute and I agree she looks just like you. I love the doves release too. I'm so happy for you.
I went with the fresh petals in ivory and lavender. I actually got a good deal on them at a small florist inside one of the local grocery stores here. However, I had to use silk for the flower girls because the venue didnt allow fresh petals on the floors. (safety concerns I guess)
Flower petals once trampled on can actually stain carpets and floors which is also a reason why some places don't allow tossing fresh petals. I saw one episode of Whose Wedding Is It Anyway where the couple had their wedding in a church with a blue carpet and they threw red rose petals that left stains so bad you would have thought someone took a red marker and smeared the carpet. The pastor of the church was furious. The wedding coordinator was down on her knees scrubbing the carpet while he watched.

Yeah, when I thought about people walking all over the silk ones after the ceremony, I could see why they didnt allow the fresh ones on the floors. They really can make a mess and stain everything up.
"THE PASTOR WATCHED HER SCRUB THE FLOOR?!! LMBO!!
