Anybody has such websites that lists events that is happening in your city on a day to day basis?

I like to go to www.DallasBlack.com to check out events that are coming up within the Black community. That is also how I found my DJ.
www.Guidelive.com is another good site for all things that are theater, children related, etc.

I also like to see which plays are coming through Forth Worth at one of my favorite venues, the Jubilee Theater, at www.jubileetheatre.org

I pray that New Orleans makes it through Hurricane Gustav okay when it eventually hits it. The people from Dallas Black turned me on to this site when I told them that I was going to NO in December. http://neworleansblack.com/

If you join, they also let you know whats going on in your city. We were trying to demand Barack Obama, so it keeps us up to date with other celebs that use eventful to learn about what kind of demand for them is buzzing.
