SWEETP, or shall I say Ms. Porshe, I absolutely love, love everything I see so far. Let me detail my thoughts for you.
I say anytime after your engagement is the right time to start your blog. So sister, you're right on schedule. There's nothing like a great blog to keep your thoughts straight. I love, love, love your engagement ring and I must also admit to loving your "Will You" invitation cards.

Love the pic of you and your FH. Very Sweet. Recently my FH shaved one of my prized feature of him, his goatee. Now, he looks like a 22-yr old baby boy instead of the 28-yr old man that he is. I'm gonna miss my goatee (sniff sniff). Oh well. Your FH just brought it all back for me. I love a man with a goatee.

Wedding Party ~ Wonderful, wonderful choices.
As for yours, you've made an equally impressive choice in Kenneth Pool. He is such a terrific designer. You won't be disappointed no matter your choice.
Keep it coming sister. I'm enjoying your blog very much!!!
The groosmen will either wear white or grey tuxs. I Think the grey would be really diffrent but I am sooo undecided......Ladies give me your advice, Which color do you think the groomsmen should wear? We will be using Al's Formalwear and my FI has already put down a deposit
We also won at the Bridal Fair 2 free tux and 40% off of the groosmen tux. Thats a Blessing!
Since I have been planning my dream wedding I have had my eye on a certain dress. The problem was that I only had a picture of the dress and did not know the designer of the dress. So I went to many, many bridal shops with the picture but no one knew who the designer was. Well.............
TODAY must be a good day. I received an email from my MOH in Louisiana and she FOUND THE DRESS AND THE DESIGNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am soooooo Excited. Its in Houston,Texas so my mom and I will make that a weekend trip to go to the Bridal Shop. Its WeddingsbyDebbie.com
Here is the dress:
SWEETP that wedding dress is of the hook. Very nice.
BTW the bridesmaids dress you chose was the same bridesmaid dress my girls wore. It looks very good on curvy women.
I the love the dress !!!WOW!!!! Bling !!!Bling !!!
The colors u choose are nice as well!!Congrats hun again.U guys make and lovely couple!!
And G my husband just did the same thang and i was like wow u look so much younger!!I was like I am having affair tonight !!LOL !! I am still asking him y he didnt do that for the wedding !!!!!!!!!!!LOL

What time are you envisioning your wedding SweetP? The more I look at your dress, the more I'm loving the Blings and your male attendants in the grey suit I've shown you would compliment it very well. Now, I don't know if you've decided to wear white or Ivory. It would make a difference in whether or not your FH would wear white or Ivory, but whichever color you decide, I think that you should have him wear a grey vest to accentuate with the other guys. Think about it sister.
What great taste you have. Just lovely. Kenneth Pool just shot up to the to of my list for favorite gown design. Just so pretty. Your ring is truly blinged out too.
Its going to be a 3:00 pm wedding at our church and my dress will be white and the tuxs will be white. Okay now I have a QUESTION: If we go with the grey tux for the groosmen and the groom the groom will just wear all grey and th groomsmen will wear the grey tux with the colored vest and tie...What do you think????

I think the Grey tuxes will work with the tiffany blue/pool colored vests....That color is very versatile so it really can go with black, white, ivory, or grey tuxes. We did that color and my DH wore white and the pool, and his GM's wore black tuxedos with the same color. He didn't want to wear the all white....and it worked....
Good choices in colors and the dress you picked is gorgeous! Great choice....Happy Planning:)
SweetP, I'm all for the grey suits. Especially the clean look of that Calvin Klein one. *although I know that you can find one that's more reasonable than that brand*
SensationablyHappy, I love that picture of your bridesmaids.

SWEETP, the groomsmen in grey suits and aqua vest would be nice or even black suits and aqua vests. As for your DH, you need to differenciate him. Since your gown is white, he could wear white tux with the aqua vest and tie maybe. He'll definitely stand out. When everyone wears the same color, it's hard to make the difference between groom and groomsmen.
Looking good so far SweetP! But, ummm, did I misss something? Tiffany blue is not in your color scheme is it? It's hot pink and orange right? I don't think the grey tuxes will fit - or I should say I have to see them together.
I absolutely LOVE your dress! I hope you can get it and in your price range. You may also want to check out Julius Bridal. They make knock-offs for a fraction of the cost and have a decent return policy.
Do you have pictures of your venue? Have you thought about invitation designs? Do you have an overall theme? Tackling any DIY projects? I'm going through wedding withdrawl girlie help me out! LOL!
Love the theme tropical elegance and it fits well with your color choices. Do you plan to use and Birds of Paradise in with your flowers?
I just love these flowers.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
Thank You!....You are right my colors are persimmon and watermelon with the theme A Tropical Elegance.
I dont have pictures of the venue yet but they are coming soon.
For my invitation designs I want pocketfold but for DIY it seems sooo hard to do and I am not that creative at all. I commend all the DIY Brides because I am soooo nervous about the outcome of everything.
For your pocketfolds: Have you thought about having someone design them for you and then you just put then together? You could get them designed as pdf files, upload them to Vistaprint, and have them printed on their oversized postcards. Take them to Office Depot or somewhere to have them cut, insert into pocketfolds, and you're done! All for a fraction of the cost and less frustration!
Okay it sound sooo easy. Now I have to find a designer. I will try to get on this today. Thanks for the suggestions and advice keep em coming..lol I need it all!

SWEETP, you'll need someone who's great with desktop publishing skills. They'll have it done for you in no time at all.
Future is so right about Vistaprint. I'll be ordering my postcards from them which I'll use as part of the invitation. I'll get 150 for under $30. Check them out, they have great prices.
I know our very own Turiya does design work. Her website is uNIKque's. I also have begun doing a lil' sumthin' sumthin' on my own! LOL! Let either one of us know. I'm sure we could come up with something and would appreciate the business.
How many invitations do you need? Vistaprint always offers free products. I got my RSVP postcards from them - 100 free - only paying shipping. My bridal showwer invitations also came from them. I used their oversized postcards for those and cut them to size. They were 50 free plus shipping. If you need more than 50 you just place more than one order and you can still get the free deals. I found that ususally it was cheaper to double the order than pay an additional shipping charge. Then place another order the same way for the next set if more were needed.
