Hello All,
I haven't been on this site in a while, however I have been trying to tie up some of my lose ends before my big day. I finally got the invitations out about three weeks ago, and everyone loved them. We decided to do something a little diffrent and have our invitation on a dvd. We order cards which had our pictures on the front along with our names and wedding date. When you open the card on the left hand side was the wording that are typically used in a traditional invitation, on the right hand side it said where the adult reception will be held and under that is a slit for the dvd. DVD has a picture of fh and myself along with name and wedding date. Once the disc is on you will see a picture of us along with a special message from us. On the right hand side it says our memories, ceremony details, reception details. When you click our memories our picture appears and All My Life by KC & Jo-Jo starts playing as the slide show begins. We have pictures of myself when I was a baby all the way up to adult years, and pictures of my fh as a child all the way up to adult years, then us dating. If you click on ceremony details, it just has the location of the church, name of church, and time it starts, and reception details has info about the revenue and time it starts.
My bridal shower was held at the Chart House on May 31st, and it was a blast, however one of my bridesmaids was and hour late, so you know I let her have it. I informed her as nicely as I could that if she was even one minute late to my wedding the she would not walk and I could careless what she had paid for. I informed her that lateness was not acceptable for her on her wedding day and it will not be acceptable for me.
I am now waiting for my bachelorette party, and spa day so I can kind of relax alittle. Please PRAY FOR ME. I am trying very hard not to turn into a bridezilla, but these people are trying me. Will keep checking in with you ladies periodically and keep you posted on my meltdowns( lol) I love you all and hopefully things are coming along with your planning

Time sure flies by. I love your idea of doing your invites on DVD -- what a great idea and an awesome personal touch! I wish you guys the best and yes girl I will be praying, I know how people can try you, but I pray that things will be smooth sailing from here on in. All the best my sister!

I am holding up pretty well, just ready to get this over with. The only thing that i have to do is purchase a tulle slip to go under my dress. I was trying to find a bridal store that rent those so I wouldnt have to purchase it. Oh and thanks ladies on your comments about the photos

Thanks Ladies,
I am trying to keep my sanity. I have been running around like a chicken with the head cut off. I am sooooooooooooo ready for this to be over. And keepup I wish I would have known that earlier. I went and purchased one from DB for 50.00( the cheapiest one they had)

I know I told te story about my wedding day on one of these forums, so I wont retale the story. However I did want to show the photo's. I wasnt going to show them because I hate the way my hair looks. By the time I left the beauty salon and arrived at the hotel my hair had dropped. But oh well, So here is the link:

House forgive me, but I don't know how I missed your engagement photos but they are absolutely beautiful. You and your DH look great together.
Your wedding pictures are stunning I love your colors and you hair look fine to me. Trust me a true diva can pull anything off (wink)
Now I have a question. One of your bridesmaids look just like a lady that was on bridezilla. Is that her?

Beautiful pics. Everything looks very coordinated. I really love wedding pics where you can actually see how happy the groom is too. And the facial expressions of your flower girl is PRICELESS. Is that your daughter?

Yes that was the girl from bridezilla. I called the show for her when she was getting married.
