Congrats Teresa!!! Hope your day was more than you'd ever envision it to be. Enjoy your honeymoon and come back soon with details and pictures. God bless you and your new husband!!!
My day started bright, warm and sunny. I had a beauty shop appointment at 8am I arrived on time and was done with hair and she also did my eyelashes and was out by 10am. After that i had to go to the mall to find my stepdaughter (jr.bridesmaids) some shoes because the shoes we purchased we to small.So I am walking around the mall with my tiara on and people are looking at me like i was crazy!!!! To make a long story short I didn't arrive at the location until 2pm and my wedding was to start @3pm. But to my surprise i was very calm. I got there and the guys were there and had been there on time at 1:30pm.My makeup artist called and stated she was on her way being my appointment was originally @12 with her because she was sponsoring a baby shower!!! How dare her on my day ????LOL
But at this point she arrived and the photographer as well. So I asked the photographer to start with the guys first being they her dressed and everyhthing. She came back and told me there weren't focused. I laughed and said well get the ladies while the make up artist started on me. Only 2 bridesmaids were in the room with me the others were downstairs and one was still MIA @2:30pm .So my photographer started taking preparation pictures snapping pictures left and right. I wasn't to happy with that in the beginning because I never take pictures without my makeup on. She assured me they will be nice and she was right. After getting my makeup done one of my wedding planners arrived in the room and asked everyone to leave the room expect my sister at this point it was 3:10pm.She asked me how long did i need to get dress and i was like give me 20mins.After my little sister assisted me getting on my beautiful and very heavy dress she left and five minutes later my dad walked into the room. All he could say was "Baby u look so beautiful " and started to cry !!!!Ladies I had to calm him down before he made me mess up my makeup!!!LOL!!!
After that i started to focus on the music and then it was my turn my dad escorted me down the stairs to the aisle to my future husband.
He looked so nervous!!!!!!I was so happy!!!!My husband kept getting choked up during the vows and kept saying to me u are so beautiful !!!!I was smiling ear to ear. Even the preacher was nervous when he went to announce us as husband and wife he used my last name instead of my husbands. But all the guest corrected him and laughed. The receiving line was outside because the location had to convert the ceremony location to a *bleep*tail hour for our guest while we went to the Milwaukee Art Museum to take outdoor shoots. Me and the girls loaded up in the limo and once we arrived we started to take the most beautiful pictures and the all of a sudden the clouds started coming and it started getting dark then we heard a loud horn!OMG!!!!A TORNODO WARNING !!!!
It started to drizzle a little so we took a couple more pictures and headed back to load up. As soon as the limo pulled off it started to pour down raining and my bright sunny day was now black,windy, and raining. But I was still calm!!!!!
As we pulled up to the location the staff was waiting outside with huge umbrellas for us. I have to say my wedding planners did they thang!!!! When we arrive the reception hall was opened to guest some of the comments i heard was that when they opened the doors to the hall it was like a scene from the wedding in Tyler Perry Family Reunion movie all we needed was the harps and the angels coming from the ceiling!!!So I must say my guest where pleased !!!!After all guested entered my wedding party entrance it was time for Mr.&Mrs.Smith !!!!!!
The DJ started our entrance song Flashing Lights by Kayne West f/RKelly and mixed in the theme song from The Jefferson's Moving On Up.
Me and my husband first walked in all cool hand and hand and then the next thing I know he was doing George Jefferson dance!!!!Our guest went crazy !!!!!Ladies he cut up!!!LOL
After that i was so impressed with how everything turned my cake was beautiful. They showcased the cake in front of or head table.
The food was marvelous !!!They started out with the staff coming out with the salad with homemade dressing!!!! We had Roast Beef Carving Station !!!Talking about a touch of class. My guest didn't see that one coming. Fried and baked chicken,rice pilaf (THE BOMB),Garlic Mashed Potatoes with gravy!!!!Some people say it was still raining and sirens were going off we didn't hear a thang. We partied !!!My husband came out of that suit coat and tie and it was a wrap!!!When we left it the sky was clear and it wasn't raining. The candy station was a hit most of the candy was gone half into the reception. Also the CD favors was also a hit we still having people call us for copies for there friends!!!!We are so BLESSED!!!!!!!!!!!!We just got the proof sheet from the photographer today and the pictures turned out beautiful so once me and my husband go threw them i will post as well as update our wedding website !!!!
I want to thanks all my sisters for all the advise,prayers,ideas,ect!!!
Wow Teresa, sounds like everything went according to plan - God is indeed great... Anyway congratulations again & wishing ur new family more & more blessings. I can't wait to see the visuals... All the best Mrs Smith!
OMG! look whose here the superdiva her self !!!wow im glad everything turned out great for u T woops i mean MRS SMITH LOL ,even though it rained it still didnt stop ure wedding day from being beutifull as its meant to be thats great , im wishing u a happy ever after u and ure brand new hubby lol .we cant wait to see the lovely pics !!
I love the way you tell the story, you can hear your emotions all up and through it. I'm so happy you enjoyed your day. They actually say rain on a wedding day is good luck so girl, a tornado...get ready for your buckets of blessings. Congratulations.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey Mrs. Teresa Smith!!!! My face hurts from smiling!!! I'm glad you were calm through it all :) Sounds like yall had a GREAT TIME!!! Awaiting the pics sis!!!

Diva Teresa Smith, I'm so very glad that everything worked out so wonderfully for you. May God bless your union and your marriage everysingle day of your lives. I'll wait patiently for the pictures. Wow, feels like I was there. Thanks for all the details.
My photographer put this dvd together for me before our prints come back !!! So check out our big day !!!The music is her selections !!!But it came out very nice i think !!!!

Congrats Teresa!!! The video wouldn't play for me either, but from your story I can tell that your wedding day was first class all the way!!! From the menu to the photography, obviously girlfriend, "YOU DID THAT!!!"

Mrs Smith, everything was simply magnificent. you've done such a terrific job. I love your venue as it was perfectly matched with the floral design and your bridal colors. You were so very happy on your wedding day, as it should be.
WOW, your venue was gorgeous and your baker did a great job on your cake. Everything really did come together nicely. And you looked like you were having a blast during the garter removal..LOL

teresa your wedding was the truth girl you looked so pretty the centerpieces were hot and you two look soooooooooooo happy everything came together beautifully and your venue very nice congrats again my vibride sister,you did your thing.
