i was thinking chocolate and pink 2 by 2 boxes with our names and date on them with hersheys kisses or ghiradelli chocolates is this good any other suggestions
Great idea about the favor boxes. I ordered 100 pink ones and 100 chocolate ones on E-bay for my favors. I'm going to switch the tops on them (chocolate bottom with pink top and vice versa) and then tie them with ribbon. I'm also having a wedding CD and a candy station with all pink and brown candies. I'm going to fill the favor boxes with pink chocolate almonds (not jordans, they're wayyyy too hard), but I haven't decided if I'll put the boxes on the tables or at the candy station. Hope this helps.
hey keithsbride did you order them from efavormart on ebay i think the candy station is a wonderful idea where are u gonna find cany for the station and glassware to hold them i have never been to a wedding with a candy station we wanted todo something different than the candles champagne glasses and doves etc
Pebbles I had a candy station and it was a HUGE hit! We did old skool candy; I purchased the majority of the candy at groovycandies.com but I got some from blaircandy.com & Oriental trading; I purchased the vases etc from walmart, 99 cents store and dollar tree. HTH! :)
I think your idea with the pink and brown boxes would be very cute especially with your decor...but if you want more favors the ladies are giving great ideas...Good Luck:)
I wanted to do a candy station, but the wedding venue will be providing diffrent types of italian pastries and maybe we will pay for chocolate fountain
ooooooooooooh iwanted chocolate fountain dh said no people arent gonna be thinking about that just food and drinks what does he know about this kind of stuff
Yes Pebbles, I did order the boxes from efavormart. Did you?
I'm getting my candy from walmart, kmart, and places like that, and also from candy wholesalers around my city (Miami). Oh and my aunt is a wedding/event specialist, so has all the glass containers for me to use. And I've been told to get the silver scoops from Bed, Bath, & Beyond.
Originally, I wanted the chocolate fountain too, but after asking around, many people and wedding professionals told me that the choc. fountain starts out beautifully, then gets very messy (even with an attendant monitoring the station). So, just something to keep in mind.
i will be i had to do my research first they do offer by far the best value for your money im gonna order the monogramed ones in pink and chocolate and buy ribbons in both colors
I was soooooo excited today when I walked into Kmart and they had the Susan G. Komen pink breast cancer awareness M&M's for 28 cents a bag. The regular price is $3.28 a bag, but they were deeply discounted. I looked at them a couple months ago to use for my pink and chocolate candy station, but I'm so thankful I waited. I bought the only 10 bags they had left in the store. Whew...what a true blessing! That's favor right there!
