Wedding Blues
Posted on: 04/26/2008 01:24 AM
My wedding is 3 months away and my reception hall is really getting on my nerves. I need to block out rooms for my out of town guest and I keep getting the run around. Come on my invites need to go out and I am tired of getting calls about hotel info from anxious family members. I am also disappointed with my rehearsal dinner location. Myself and FFIL called the owner of the restaurant who said he didn't remember speaking with me the day before. Which was fine because he didn't have any information for me anyway. But then he turned around and said I only remember people who are putting money in my hand. I was at a lost for words. Are people really that rude?
Rambling sorry
Does anyone know of a nice restaurant in Harlem, NY for a rehearsal dinner?
Wow Mrs080908, I can't beleive he was that rude. I wouldn't patronize him either. Sorry I can't recommend another location for you.
I say go ahead and mail your invites out. You can always mail hotel info separetly if needed. Unfortunetly even if you included the hotel info in them people would STILL call you about the hotel.

See God is so good. I found a even better rehearsal dinner location in the city at a great price and the lady even threw in a red velvet cake and cheesecake. I am really learning how to find the bargains. After my wedding I am gonna be a pro.
