girl, your day, your way! I say wear whatever YOU want!!!!!! renewing of the vows are just that-you are starting anew, so don't think about you guys already being married...heck, I had a veil to wear and forgot to put it on because of rushing around getting ready :) so do what is going to make you happy!!

Like Soon already mentioned, our mantra is Your Day Your Way. If you want tiara & veil, do tiara & veil. Choice is totally yours.

Not sure if you mentioned this somewhere before but how long have you been married? I can't wait to renew our vows. Then I can have fun planning something totally different than the first time. Maybe a destination wedding next time...HMMMM thinking.

Do it your way! Do you have a picture of your gown? That may help with the decision. I've seen some gowns that look gorgeous with a birdcage veil if you didn't want to do traditional.

pebbles, you don't need to open a tinypic account to use it. All you have to do is go to www.tinypic.com, the page should say upload images and videos, hit "browse" to select the picture you want to post (if the picture is saved on your pc). Hit "upload now". Click to copy the first part that says "HTML for websites" then go to your vibride message and paste what you've just copied. Then hit "Post Reply" from Vibride and TADA!!! DONE!!!

Good luck to you Pebbles!!!

I agree with the other ladies - a veil is a must for that gown! Pretty! Also and updo or half up/half down for your hair would complete the look of elegance!

Pebbles I think your centerpiece is fine the way it is. Just surround it with votives and some petals and you're good to go.

As far as your tinypic dilemma, once you upload your pics to tinypic, look for the code listed in the "img code for forums & message boards" box which is the second box. Copy the code exactly as written in box and paste it here. If right clicking using copy & paste aren't working for you, you will need to hand write code exactly as written. Remember to include the part and everything in between. HTH.

I agree! That dress is gorgeous and I think that you need to do it all this time around. I don't see anything wrong with having a veil and a tiara for a vow renewal and I don't think anyone else will blame you either. This is about you guys and what you want. BTW, you DO make a good looking couple. You should go all out

Pebbles I didn't mean a literal updo on the top of your head! LOL! I meant pulled back into a soft chignon (sp?). Check out the Essence hair gallery. It may give you some ideas.

I say a little bling-as to not take away from the dress and especially if you are having a tiara-let that be the main "bling"

Definitely Tiara and a veil. The length should come to your hips exactly where the skirting of the gown begins and the front part of the veil should be about elbow length.

Wow, sensational wedding gown and you and your FH are so awesome together!!!

Beautiful dress. I think you should try it on and see...Thats the best way to really know. I had a very similar dress and chose to wear a veil and tiara, but only after trying on different ones....Take a pic in each veil and tiara, plus with the tiara and without the veil...I went with a simple veil because the dress itself is so extravagant, I didn't want to take away from the dress....It also would look good without the veil and just the tiara, but try it on and see!

Pebbles I actually wouldn't do a necklace. Just a blingy bracelet and chandeliar earrings. I say this because of the bling on the sweetheart neckline of the gown. BTW, try ebay for a nice bling bracelet at a nice price! Fo earrings take a look at www.whiteaisle.com, also Nordstroms, Claires, and Macys.

Love the hairstyle. It would look gorgeous with your dress Pebbles. I'm just not sure it works with a tiara but you could still do a veil with it and some hair jewlery.

Actually, it's a two tier. And to that family (hater) I mean member (oops!!!) Don't worry about it. Just tell them that this is a vow renewal. You're already married to each other. You're not re-marrying someone else, and even if you were, you're entitled to have everything you want to. You're the Diva here and don't you forget it. It's your day, HEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

Hey Diva Pebbles, you wanted to wear a flower in your hair? I'm not sure what you meant since part of your post missed a word. Please clarify.

As for the twins saying "Hello" to your DH, just buy a David's Bridal Bra. It's strapless and covers your mid section like a corset, but comfortable too. Your FH could've been as blind as Stevie Wonder and still see your twins saying "Hello" (hahaha)

Pebbles, Choice #6 that Gin posted is vary similar to original pic Future posted of Tyra. The pic Gin posted as choice #3 is exactly what I was picturing on how to wear your veil with that side swoop style. You can do a flower right wherever your band meets the back pinned up part.

Bump!

Many bride's magazines and shows this year are saying that tiara's are out. I wasn't going to wear one at first, maybe just a headband. But after I picked out the jewelry I liked, the only thing that seemed right was a tiara. So, I put that bad girl on my head and wore it with pride, fashion be darned. When else are you going to be able to wear a tiara and people not look at you like you're crazy? Fashion is your personal style. "Sashay, sashay."

VIPrincessBride Bump!

LOL I hear ya! Although, on platinum weddings just about EVERY single bride wore a

Tiara. They are so beautiful and they just say BRIDE to me. One girl paid $3,000 for hers! SO if you want to make your day the way you want it I say go for it all! Never too old for a veil, however if you are over 30 I would avoid the blusher (veil over the face) we all know you didn't wait 'til now for the boom boom! :)

Oh, no Rosetta. I have to disagree. I can still blush, sistah. In fact, I blush all the time. LOL!

To me, that's like the saying that you shouldn't wear white if you've been married before.

I had read that the blusher adds a certain softness and mystery to the bridal look. Ever since I read that, I was all for wearing the blusher. Even though the wind was blowing on that terrace, I was determined to wear my blusher...and to me that's part of the romance of the ceremony...when the new husband looks into his beautiful bride's eyes, and lifts that blusher for the first kiss as husband and wife. Oh, (hand on my heart) there's nothing sweeter. Woooooooweeeee! My hubby was so excited, he didn't even lift that blusher all the way up before he started kissing me. LOL! I know I have that pic posted! I'll have to post the one with the close-up of the blusher over my face.

Here's the close-up:

That wind was blowing, but don't I look mysterious and virginal? LOL!

Yes, here's the first kiss pic:

Hmm. Looking at that pic again, see y'all lata! I've got to get home to my Baby!
