Okay I'm pushing our new wedding date back . . . just one week. When I chose 4/4/09 i had no idea it was the day Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated in 1968. My Gawd!!!!
I couldn't find a "change the date" thread to add this on so i just started a new one. Happy Sunday ladies!
I just found that out as well. Are we sure that Easter will be in April next year, since it was in March this year... either way, I wish you the best and Happy planning!

Sometimes you can't help what holiday your wedding date falls on unfortuntely...But I just had a client come in today who's child was born on 4/4/08, and after reading your post I just feel that it really is okay....So if you had chose to still have your wedding that day, it could be a beautiful day...in spite of:)
Just don't try to hold off having your child if he happens to want to be born that day! Lol!
That's true too. When we first started planning ours (before we knew about Easter being changed). I thought April 11th (that was our original date) was Easter weekend this yr, but i still planned to keep the date because it was 411 but then we changed to 4/12 to make it easier on out of town guests

Holidays are tough because everything goes up, the price of hotels, flowers, etc... I think that you've done great pushing it back to a day when nothing big is happening. Whichever day in April it is, it will still be magnificent.!!!
