Sorry housewife, I don't konw of any from the Northern New Jersey area either, but there is a company named "Chair Covers" You can access them online by going to www.chaircoversonline.com
and request a brochure. Their rentals are $1.00 each. I use them from time to time. The only thing is, they get so many orders, you cannot wait until the last minute to place your order. I usually place my orders 2 months prior to a wedding and requesting that I receive them a week prior to the event. That way, if something happen during shipping ( a delay or whatever), I have plenty of time to call the company or track it. They have great varieties. Let me know how you make out Diva.

I didn't get my chair covers in NJ but I went to a site called urquidlinen.com and they charged me $2 for the cover and sash set a piece.

I am also in search of Chair covers in the Philadelphia area, I considered using some of the online places but I am a little leary that they may not show up ontime or if at all.

That's the thing I worry about. I also dont want to pay to have it shipped there and back. I would rather have a company come and put it up and come and take it away. That way I dont have to deal with anything missing or deal with trying to iron out the wrinkles

Did you guys look into www.cateringsupplies.com. It looks really good and it's not plastic and the great thing is, you don't have to send it back. The price is great!!! I think someone said that for 120 it's only $237 for both? That's incredible? I've requested some samples in Dusty Rose to see if it's my color. It looks pretty good and you can wipe it with water or throw it in the washing machine, you could even iron this!!! That got me interested.

Ginoue, the item details on this peaked my interest too. I'm just wondering about the type of material it is. I saw disposable chair covers at a local party store and they were made out of that same material you see in the hospitals (paper gowns, face masks, shoe covers, etc) but it was slightly thinner, more transparent.
When you get your sample back can you update us on the type of material? Or better yet, can you post a close-up pic? You couldn't really view pic that close on website. I'm also curious as to how it looks next to real linens. The display I saw had table clothes made from same material, not actual linen. I'm working with a couple now who can't afford chair covers and this might be an option.
Pebbles, actually you can answer this too.

According to the information I got from the website, the material is 100% Olfin. Now I don't have a clue what Olfin is, but if it could be washed and Iron, it has to be stronger than those disposible hospital gowns.
As soon as I receive my sample, I'll be more than happy to post a picture and give you guys more information. It's going to take about 3 weeks to get it.
I will keep you all updated.
