Is the $2100 only for the *bleep*tail hour? For only 1 1/2 hours? That's a lot of money!!! What kind of drinks are they serving? Is it open bar? Wow!!! That's a lot of money if it's not open bar. If it's open bar, it's still a lot of money for the *bleep*tail hour only. If you were to supply your own alcohol, how would they feel about that?

I think that is a lot of money if it is not open bar all night. We are paying $2095 for open bar all night-4 hours, and that hurt my heart at first. lol.

I think do a signature drink in your wedding color and everything else should be cash bar only. $2100 for only 1.5 hours is ridiculous. Even if they say it's top shelf alcohol, it's still ridiculous.

I like this one the best to defray cost. If they will let you purchase the alcohol (highly unlikely-but ask anyways), you'll come out a lot cheaper...then you can just pay for them to bartend....Other than that...how important is the liquor? If its not that important, you may be able to splurge somewhere else. Your budget must stay intact!

Teresa-wish I could offer you some advice on this issue, but since I am not serving any alcohol at my reception, I have no clue.

Good luck on whatever you decide!

Askalot where u been girl! We missed you!

Teresa, if they are providing tea, water, and milk do you HAVE to have soda?

I think that if you are covering beer and champagne, maybe you can get them to do like a punch or lemonade at a small cost or see if they can include it, or replace the milk for the punch. I would ask. But remember, everyone is not going to drink everything!
