You are on the roll tonight pebbles, I was thinking the samething. My bridemaids will be wearing latte dresses and I am thinking about orange flowers to bring it out.

Hi Pebbles! I agree with Soon and House. Orange, yellow, gold, all of these colors will really bring the latte and ivory out. They are beatiful fall colors as well.

Welcome Pebbles. Since latte is a neutral color, virtually any vibrant color will work: orange, yellow, red, purple or hot pink. lime green, turquoise, etc. No name it, you can make it can work. I always suggest picking a color that captures your personality and adds to the ultimate feel you are looking to create.

I think burgundy would be a great accent maybe with some darker brown or chocolate accents (like in ribbon or something like that)

Since you're using silk flowers, Burgundy would be very nice and also, Welcome to the sisterhood Pebbles and congrats on your upcoming wedding.

Do you have a farmer's market where you live? Or perhaps a Flea Market? If you do, most saturdays, they would have bunches of fresh flowers, great flowers about 24 to a bunch for just $5.00 a bunch. So, you've got time my sister, look into that before you commit yourself to silk flowers.

Happy Planning!!!

Pebbles I think the burgundy would look very elegant with the latte.

Ginoue I think the flea market idea is excellent idea for someone who has no real floral preference and is willing to work with whatever is on hand. The problem with flea markets is that you never know what they will have available at the given time and if they will have enough of what you like, to do what you need done. Since timing is everything when dealing with fresh flowers, you have to really know what your doing in terms of the types of flowers you're selecting otherwise you run the risk of your flowers not holding up through out the entire reception. You have to remember to factor in correct water, light, humidity, etc. Anyone who choses to DIY with fresh flowers should definitely consult with a reputable florist if possible.
