Thank God!! My invitations are officially out of my hands and in the mail!! What a relief!! For the last couple of weeks, my entire life was put on hold while working on those things. Now I will be anxiously awaiting the RSVP cards. That was the last major check off of my list (I think, I better double check), now I have to take care of the hundreds of smaller items that remain unchecked!
Really! Good for you! I haven't received any responses yet. Looks like my people are going to wait until the last minute! Have all of your guests accepted?
still waiting on some, but I am pretty confident everybody I mailed an invite to is coming; now my church family I am handing those out Sunday so there are quite a few "maybe's" in that bunch

Congratulations to both Soon and TiffyB. Great checks off your list in sending out invites and receiving RSVPs. Just be sure to be on top of it if your deadline for responses pass. Make the phone calls and don't leave it up to them.

By all means, please do. That's what they're for. Just play dumb and pretend that your wedding planner included them in or your bridal party was in charge of invitations. So, start stuffing!!!
Teresa if you want to follow proper etiquette, don't include registry info. Although we expect wedding gifts, including registry info sends the message that gifts are required. It's really up to you, you know the motto...Your Day, Your Way.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
I just got my 1st mock up of my invite. Please let me know if there is something that should be changed.I value my sisters opinion!!It is a pocketfold that invites just slides in.I was liking about adding some bling so it could stand out. What do u guys think??Is RSVP date okay if I am mailing the out at the end of this month?

Oh yeah they did leave of the "d" in you FH's name on the invite. But it looks good. Either way as far as the wording is cool, T's ideas is worth looking into also. Its always good to see other wording options too from the person who is being invited's point of view....
Teresa, your invitations are very pretty. Here are a few minor suggestions:
Add a common after the word season.
It should read "and" between your two names, not "to"
For a more formal look, spell out 7th as seventh, and spell out the year and time.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
Thanks I saw the problems with the spelling those changes will be made. The vendor had to rush a mock to me because my wedding planner was starting to get on my nerves about starting the programs and card box so I had her make it up for her. We were still working on the wording. But I really wanted my sisters opinion on what sounds best. So keep it coming ladies. I don't really like how the "S" looks on the invite and response card. But I need so help trying to find a better font for that I think. I also started working on my custom stamps on zazzle.com. I don't know if I want to put our engagement photo on the stamp or just the monogram that is one the invite they both came out nice but I am just not sure. Anybody use them before and have any promos or coupons they would like to share pls!!
