Ladies,
We are having our rehearsal dinner at a restaurant where I have a set menu of items I want to be available to the guests. Should I do menu cards specifying their choices?
YES! Because you guys don't want to be up there all day saying "Sorry you can't have that, but you can have ..." Don't even let them see the resturant's menu, just your delightful menu cards that you made for their convenience ..:)
As far as Pyscho ...I took that Ms. back from you ..she don't need it, i'll start with no word from the boys yet. My son's (given to me by DH) bday was yesterday and his party was sunday ...I don't have enough energy to type out the details so long story short ...she ended up leaving her OWN son's FIFTH bday party after numerous of agruments ending in the the boys having to stand in the middle with threats! All before I took my coat off!! I hate the word hate, so I'll say I---- her! DH called and texted a few times to tell his son happy birthday yesterday ...and got no answer. Jealousy is a murderer!!
I agree with the other ladies Soon, using the menu cards is a good idea, and will eliminate the annoying issue of everyone asking "may I order this or that!".
well I have cleared it with the manager at the store so I am putting together the menu on paper as we speak! He even said they are going to shut the place down for my dinner; they usually close at 8:00 but he said they will shut it down at 7:30 so we can have it all to ourselves! Wow! what a hook-up!!! :)

I will definitely do the menu card. Just make sure to stop by the restaurant the morning of and speak with the night manager. Ask him if he would be so kind as to have the server (s) assigned to your party place a menu card on the plate of each one of your guests. That way, it would already be there when you guys get to the restaurant and they don't have to ask to see a menu or anything. They would just have to make do by choosing something from your choice list.
I personally dont think you should provide menu cards for a rehearsal dinner. I think you could use that money on something else you wanted to add to your wedding
