Candy Buffetts

Did anyone use one in their reception? Where is a good place to buy cheap candy in bulk online? How about the glass containers you put the candy in?

Try candydirect.com. They have wide selection. As far as containers, it depends on what style you want to go with. Any style crystal bowl will do and if you are looking for the ones you see in candy shops that look like a cookie jar, I've seen those recently in WalMart for $5.34 or $5.84 each, in the glassware section. I remembered price because I planned to go back and purchase but haven't yet.

also try amazon.com typing in the name of a specific candy or just type "bulk candy". For my wedding I purchased a couple of 10lb boxes of jelly belly soda shoppe jelly beans from amazon.com and it only cost me about $35 a box but on other sites they were selling for anywhere from $45 to $50. I would do a new search every couple of days to see what new comes up.

Msjena64 a candy buffet is a table where you set up an assorted candy display that guests can help themselves to at the reception. Sometimes it takes the place of doing individual favors. You can pick candies that match your wedding colors, are nostalgic or mean something to the bride & groom. It makes for a great conversation piece.

I am aloso doing a candy buffet. I bought some nice candy hars with lids in Walmart. They were like 3.49. Also Ikea has some really nice ones for 2.99-10.99. Try BJ's or Sams for your candy.
