Has anyone seen a gown that they liked better AFTER purchasing their gown?

Yes I did, however, I didn't want to make myself crazy and besides I had put money down and couldn't get it back. So I just made peace with my decision.

I want some crabs! Getting ready to call FH ....It's either that or my weakness ...shopping-and I already saw 4 pair of boots today that I could have copped real easy...

Babble me -I'm loggin off ...sorry ladies ..

LOL! ok ok Future ..:) I've come to a "small" grip on the matter, still making peace with ...The color of the dresses are ...I would say a shiny brick INSTEAD of deep burgungy...so I'm going over to After Hours and change up the guys vest...give both girls Gold balls and lighten their ribbon...will post pics by the weekend...

On a lighter note-Paid the photographer last night (the full amount, bc he was saying .5 now .5 later ...nope take this while we have it) and I gave him what I wanted on the projector presentation during our first dance ...

Question for you ladies ...Have anyone seen the preview to "This Christmas" with Chris Brown? We wanted that version of This Christmas played during our first dance ...:)

God has a plan!

I went against the grain (as I do) and proceeded to order the "other" dress I JUST HAD TO HAVE bc it was this and it was that ...so I calls Lindsey, and she says sorry, that dress is not in stock and won't be until the end of December ...so ladies bc my steps are ordered, Imma be happy with what I have and knock em out with the original dress ...

Yes, but since my gown was paid in full already, I didn't worry about it. If we do a renewal ceremony, I'll consider buying another gown.

Ladies ..I busted the dress out of the very back of my closet, where it has been since July ...and put in on again, so I can like it ..and I did. I took some pics, with the hopes you can get a visual...I haven't had it altered yet though..

trynna get the whole thing

with my bouquet and the girls ball -(they both will have gold, bc of the color mix up)-don't mind my daughters messy room pls!

Everything looks well coordinated. I love the shoes you found to match your dress. And that ball matches perfectly with your BM shoes. Nice job. Are you wearing a tiara or veil?

I didn't think this was a veil wearing kinda dress (or I didn't find one I liked ..one of the two)...so I was thinking hair jewlery instead?

I think a long veil would go well with it and you could still do hair jewelry. Try on a couple veils with the dress and see what you think. Originally I didn't want to do a veil either but once I tried it, it definitely completed the look.

And you know what ...if I was going to do one ...it would have been a very long one, cause I don't have a train so my veil was going to be longer than my dress .. :)

Imma try it, where did you get yours? I may just DIY it.

Thanks Future! The other gold one was glittered like the burgundy one, but I ran up on these, and like it better THEN got home and saw how well it matched the shoes.. :)

I'm dealing with the color a little better now, I kept the original ribbon though although the burgundy in it is a little dark ..it still flows, it'll work ...:)

My mother was originally going to make mines but she was taking to long to get started so I ordered one from the bridal shop my dress came from. That was a major source of frustration because I wanted all this custom stuff done to it. I added and extra tier to it and I also added 6 inches to length of longest tier just to make sure it was longer than my dress train. Oh and did I mention the longest tier had to be attached with Velcro so I could remove just that one layer for the reception. The veil didn't come in until 1 week before wedding and then I decided I wanted to add rhinestones because the glass beads didn't sparkle enough. Girl I was a mess altering everything at the last minute. Just like you..LOL

Turiya, I can definitely see the jewelry in the hair for you, provided if you can find some gold ones to tie in your look, as for the veil, if you're having one, a more champagne looking type of material will be absolutely divine.

Girl, I'm getting misty and I haven't even seen you come down the aisle yet!!! Wow, girl, you will blow your FH's mind as you come down the ailse on your wedding day!!!

Turiya- the dress is adorable- the color is also really unique and elegant- it complements your skintone. I agree with Ginoue- the jewels in the hair can really sparkle if also in the champagne and gold notes of your dress- you will look amazing. Have you had a trial yet??
