Posted on: 11/05/2007 03:19 PM
I need some help....I'm 5'even and my FH is about 5'10. I"m always in heels but I haven't been able to find the right shoe for my wedding. Same with jewelry. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure about your budget but if you're looking for a bargain, try www.hannahdonline.com for your jewelry. Some beauty supply stores also have great accessories for jewelry. As for the shoes, have you looked at the shoes in the Vibride store?

Also, check with Claire's boutique in the mall for your jewelry. Bumblebeekee got hers from Claire's and it's beautiful, check her pics.

Definitely Claire's (inexpensive, elegant) or something(s) borrowed from a family member or dear friend (free!) for jewelry, unless he gives you a beautiful piece as a wedding gift (most likely expensive, but free and elegant for you!).....For shoes, if your shoes won't be showing, get the most comfortable heels you can find (or borrow).....I got some simple, but elegant shoes from David's Bridal for like 50.00, but I can wear them again if I like. My dress was big at the bottom, so people only saw them when he took the garter off at the reception....I was able to wear them comfortably all day with very little pain at the end....no extra slippers needed!
PS. Make sure you buy your shoes early enough to wear at each fitting. Especially since you are short:) You are likely to need a hem....same goes for Bridesmaids, moms, and other bridal party members!
