Cake centerpieces
Posted on: 10/29/2007 08:29 AM
Hey ladies,

I have a question: The centerpieces on my 12 tables will be real cakes. I'm trying to figure out how to have them cut and the left-overs put into their cake bags I have as smooth as possible. May have them pre-cut to start with??

Are you having serving staff at your reception venue (either buffet servers or people bringing out the plates of food)? If so you can have them cut the cakes at each table. I wouldn't have them precut because it will take away from the look of the centerpieces. Bamabride had cake centerpieces. Maybe you can send her a note and ask how she did it.
