Finding a make-up artist
Posted on: 10/25/2007 12:43 PM
I am in need of a make-up artist but they are so expensive. I'm trying to find a Mary Kay consultant but not everyone can do make-up. The Mac counter requests that you buy $45 worth of product. My bridesmaids have already put out alot of money and I don't want to ask them to put out anymore and I don't have the money. Does anyone have any ideas? Help. Oh yeah did I tell you that my wedding is next Saturday. LOL

Try another counter like Loreal, Fashion Fair, Clinique or Iman. Take a pic of your face, and ask them to show you how to put the make-up on yourself. You can also get some sample diagrams on how to apply the makeup.....I am a Mary Kay consultant myself....Also, go the the mary kay website, and they have some sample make-up wedding day looks you can replicate. They also have a "Virtual Make-over" link for different skin types and looks.....Good Luck....I would call another MK consultant...today

Try talking to whom ever is working at the make-up counter to see if they would be willing to "Moonlight" for a couple of hours and make some extra money. Also, think of everyone you know that wears make-up on the regular. They may be willing to do the make-up for you.
