If you have not gone to see it yet, pls make it your business to do so. Ladies, Tyler Perry really hit home with this one. I don't want to spoil it but pls go see it so we can blog about this one.
It's not a "chick flick", it's couples flick. If you have girlfriends that are married and can't get their guys to go it might be good for you as well.
I have plans to go see the movie next Friday when I go up to Atlanta to visit my FH. I asked him to come see it with me, letting him know that the trailer doesn't reveal it to be a "chick flick,", so he looked at it and said it looks ok and decided he'll go and see it with me! I am really excited to see this movie! I would have gone last night, but I'd rather wait and see it with my FH. Thanks for reassuring me that it is not a "chick flick," I'll let him know this came from someone who has actually seen the movie:) Did your FH go with you?
Yes we went together. It actually gave me a new perspective on why I want to get married. I won't spoil though I'll wait until you all see it and then tell my story.
Thanks for not spoiling the movie for us! Some people will see a movie, and knowing you haven't see it yet, just start telling the whole plot! I quickly interrupt and say I plan to see it myself, so please don't spoil the movie for me! I will be back to discuss the movie as soon as I see it!! Thanks.
Was the movie anything like the play? I can't wait to see it. I need to find a theater with truck parking or truck parking nearby. I'm on my way to Massachussetts this weekend.
I'm new here, and just wanted to say that i went to go see the movie,
and it was interesting. I must say myself that it really made me love my fiance even more, and i definitely will not take his love for granted.

It was definitely awesome....We went on friday night...well me and my sister b/c DH thought it was a chick flick, and didn't want to see it...Plus it was premire night so he didn't want to deal with crowds....Anyways...worth the $$ to see this one...I didn't like how all the people in the theatre were being rude and immature on certain scenes...I don't do movies the night they come out anymore because of this...me and DH like to go when the mature adults are attending...Can you say Matinee?
MATINEE! MATINEE! FH and I are supposed to go Tuesday after a conference with my son's teacher if he doesn't flake out on me!
On that note, my son has lost his mind thinking he can bring a progress report with 3 F's to THIS house! Can you sistas get some bail money together for me? PLEASE!
ME AND FH WENT TO SEE THIS MOVIE TYLER DID HIS THANG ON THIS ONE !!!
I LAUGHED AND CRYED !!!I AM GOING TO SEE IT AGAIN.
JILL SCOTT REALLY PLAYED HER ROLE VERY WELL I HAVE TO SAY I WAS IMPRESSED.SHE IS CURRENTLY DEALING WITH HER ON PERSONAL ISSUES WITH HER MARRIAGE AND I TRULY FELT LIKE HER TEARS WERE REAL.JANET HAD TO REALLY FIGHT TO ACT OUT HER EMOTIONS BUT SHE DID WELL. AND THE MEN I HAVE TO HONESTLY SAY THE WERE AWESOME IN THIS FILM !!!!
I feel your pain, Sensationably! I used to hate going to the theater because I always ended up sitting behind a hoochie with a 3 foot tall ponytail on her head or people that yell at the movie (like the actors can really hear them).
Okay I'm dying to talk about this movie but I don't want to ruin it for others. Let's decide on a date where it's fair game to talk about the movie. I think by next weekend it should be okay to talk about. What do you ladies think?
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"
It's not fair!! The film doesn't come out here for ages! I always have to get my black film fix through pirate DVD's! I'm going to order my copy now so next weekend should be fine!!
I LOVED this movie! My DH and I went to the movies Sat and were glued to the screen for the duration. As other ladies have said, certainly not a chick flick and well worth the $. I'll be looking forward to next week when we can talk abt it.
** It doesn't take the whole day to recognize sunshine **
I saw it Saturday night and it was in my opinion, one of the best movies he's made. Please, please go see it ladies. And take your FH with you. It is well worth the money and the time! Tyler Perry did his thing again. Oh, and it is very, very similar to the play, but MUUUUUUUCH better. I can't wait until we can start talking about it. lol We'll give you ladies 3 weeks to go see it. :-)
I saw the movie Saturday with my FH! It was everything I thought it would be and more! He really liked it also. Definitely his best movie in my opinion. A friend of mine has seen it three times already...lol!

So, are we ready to discuss this movie yet? I am bursting at the seams already. Have we all seen it yet? If not ladies, please go see it. You will not be disappointed.
I agree that it is time to discuss this movie! My friends and I have been talking about the film for awhile now. I suggest we start a new post about the film, and just be sure to note **Spoilers** next to the post, just for those who haven't seen it yet. This way we can have a discussion about the movie with out spoiling it for those who haven't seen it yet! What do you ladies think?
FH is like Marcus unfortunately. As far as the ass-kicking attitude I am like Angela but am a pussycat when it comes to FH. But let one of them kids' mothers disrespect me like Kesha and its on!
We are a mix of Tyler Perry and his wife and Angela and Marcus, more like the latter though.
I'm on birth control and it has completely ruined my sex drive (the Tyler and wife part)
Me and FH fight like cats a dogs though like Angela and Marcus, but we love each other. I don't down him like she did but we are both passionate people so
