I have my processional together but I was wondering if anyone has any cute ideas of ways to exit the wedding ceremony. My fiance suggested "Step in the name of love" song playing as the wedding party steps out in a mini dance routine. Sound ghetto?? I have in mind Stevie Wonder "ribbon in the sky" song played with the wedding party waving wands of ribbon in the air walking out while the bride and grom lead the way and may be the flower girls blowing bubbles. I am not sure any suggestions?
Since I have such a large wedding I will not have the guests participate my wedding party with groomsmen/bridesmaid, maid of honor, best man, jr brides, jr grooms, ring bearer, flowergirls will be about 15 people so i thinking giving them wands with the ribbons the color of my wedding attached to the ends will look elegant.. may be that will help you too depending on the wedding party
That was my original date. Good luck and hope your day is blessed.. I am sure you have everything all in line now. Be sure to post pics when you get them.
well my wedding party is smaller and I am not sure how it would work with them. r u going 2 have ur party walk in the ceremony with the ribbons and if not, how are they going 2 get them when u walk out?
I like the "Ribbon in the Sky" idea. Does everyone (wedding party)live in the same area? If so, you can try to get everyone together to "rehearse" this so you can see if you like it.
Welcome to the board AngelicBride! In my MOH's wedding after they jumped the broom the BP walked out 1st and line up on each side of the aisle. We put our hands up making a "bridge" for them to walk under. I can see this working just using the ribbons instead of your BP's hands! HTH!
Thanks I love the idea of the wedding party split along the aisles and twirl the ribbons in the air.. i will also have the flowergirls and ring bearer blow bubbles as we exit.. while the Ribbon in the sky song plays.. I am having a rehearsal dinner next Friday so i will see how it plays out.
