OAKLANDLADY34 Newbie Posts: 5	FIRST WEDDING SECOND MARRIAGE Posted on: 09/05/2007 06:51 PM Hello everyone, I am planning my wedding in a year and a half. My husband and I have been married for 3 years but did not have a wedding in fact this is my second marriage and I still did not have a wedding. what I want to know is should I do all traditions since i haven't ever had a wedding?

Hi Oaklandlady34. This is my second time; but my first wedding too. I planning the wedding I want. I will not have a veil because I don't want one; not because of any tradition or custom. It's YOUR day. Make it yours.

You can add some of the old and incorporate some of the new. You can be creative and make it up or be cookie cutter and do what has been done in the past....all in all its your wedding and you do what makes you happy! :) Get it together....India Arie
