Hey ladies! I've missed you all. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. By the grace of God, we made it back safely from our honeymoon. Now we can tell our future children about our trip being interrupted by Hurricane Dean.
The day itself was absolutely beautiful, I couldn't have asked for better weather. Here are some teaser pics until I get the professional ones.

Wow, you guys were an absolute dream. You looked so good and relaxed. Everyone looked wonderful. Your husband looked relaxed as well. Wow, I looked at the pictures and tears came to my eyes. Wonderful of you to share. Enjoy being married.
Congrats Ajia, your pictures are wonderful and your wedding looked fabulous. How does it feel to me a married woman? :) Any wedding day suggestions? I love the blog made by your photographer, he did a wonderful job!
Thank you all very much! I still can't believe that after all of the planning, the wedding has come and gone already. My only wish is that we could have a little more time together at the reception. You wind up spending the entire time getting around to all the guests that time escapes you. But I really enjoyed it!
The tuxes were from After Hours. Convenient since the GM ranged from NY to MD.
Good eye House! Yup! Verona Park is right across the street from the Richfield Regency. I love that park!
Being a married woman feels wonderful. we never lived together before the wedding so it's great being able to wake up with the man of my dreams.
Suggestion wise, don't stress every little detail. If you planned it well enough, it will happen. Worrying on the day won't make things happen any quicker.
Our photographer is wonderful! He has a great eye and I love the slide shows that he makes.
The honeymoon was wonderful when we made it back to the resort. I managed to get a few days of sun and swim a little. The food was incredible! We are already talking about going back to get an uninterrupted trip.

Wow Ajia, everything looks so perfect! You are truly a vibride! I love how you chose a style with your natural hair, and that you loet your bridesmaids wear vey nice hairstyles of their own choosing. I am a big fan of looking like "myself" just done up-instead of something I never ever look like-on the wedding day. Also the entire wedding party looks so relaxed, natural, and just great. I love how it doesn't looked contrived nor does everyone looks like clones either....I am very very impressed (and I expected to be since you are a vibride!), and excited to see more brides in the very near future....
Congrats!!!!! You guys look so happy!! Just curious....How many in your party and does it really cost more to have a larger bridal party or will be the same if you have less?

Yes Bumble, I really wanted everyone to be comfortable. Shoes were any style but silver for adults and white for kids (since it's hard to find silver in kids sizes. Plus when would they wear them again?) Hair had to be nice and a normal color. A friend from college was shocked when her MOH showed up at her wedding with BLUE hair. She just woke up that morning and felt like getting it dyed blue. To make matters worse the colors were Orange and Brown so she really stood out.
Thank you so much! We had 20 in the bridal party (2 MOH, 4 BM, 4 JBM, 1 BM, 6 GM, 3 JGM) Plus 1 FG and 1 RB. It didn't really cost more with a larger bridal party for us. Since there were so many bridesmaids, the shop gave a discount for all the dresses. Since we had so many groomsmen, hubby's tux was free. We did buy gifts for all of them but for the girls, I made their jewelry and bought them jewelry pouches and flip flops to dance in. Everyone in the bridal party would have been invited to the wedding anyway, so it wasn't adding any more mouths to feed at the wedding.

How did I miss the slideshow on this one?? Your pictures are so beautiful!! I must admit I have seen a lot of examples of wedding pictures taken by Mr Munroe - and he is fantastic!! Well done Ajia!!
