Welcome mrs moose, are you incorporating any cultural aspects into your ceremony or reception?

FMKU, I think you got your newbies mixed up, LOL.

Mrsmoose, welcome to the boards! Do you have any particular theme for your wedding? (like doves, hearts, bells etc?)

You can also always purchase ivory boxes and blue ribbon to put your favors in. I know that this isn't the right shade of blue but it's just an idea.

Nothing really cultural other than the jumping of the broom at the ceremony. Thanks for the idea of the ivory boxes with the blue ribbon. I think that I may go with that. It's simple, I can do it my self and it looks elegant.

Welcome to the boards Mrsmoose and congrats. I noticed the 0913 after your name. Is that your wedding date? That's my birthday! Excellent selection! :-)

Mrsmoose, i was asking about culture because there some really nice touches that can be done with ivory cowrie shells and african textiles. I'll see if i can dig up some examples.

Future, those notepads are to cute. If those were my colors, I would be all over them. Very unique. Mrsmoose I think you should look into those.

Thx MsBoston. My FH b-day is 9/16. He is a crazy Virgo, but I love him forever. Those not pads are not expensive. I think they went for 4.95 for a set of 6. I am thinking of adding a personalized ribbon.

Also I apologize for being rude.....I don't think I said thanks to anyone that has welcomed me aboard. "Thank-you"
