Hey Ladies!!!
First, let me say Congrats to you all!! Ive been on and off the boards for a while now and you all seem so supportive and have really great ideas. A community like this is great - especially since I've been getting alot of hate from so called "friends" **Thanx for the hook-up SeptBride!!**
Anyhoo, here are my stats:
-Big Day is 8/25/07
-New Jersey (don't turn ur nose up - believe me...it's just a myth - it's NY that's stinkin' the place up... : ) Just kiddin' *Smile*
-Truly disgusted by cost of flowers!
-200 guests (198 too many...feel like eloping at this point!)
-FH is the love of my life (see, I even have the lingo down pact :)
-Almost have it all together but still need those little things...
-Looking foward to chopping it up with you ladies
I really don't have diarreha of the mouth - or in this case of the fingers....I guess I'm excited to finally get on. My burning question right now is...Do any of you know of any good make up artist for my big day? Any leads are appreciated.

Welcome choklittkiss! Another August bride AND another Jersey girl! I can't wait to hear some more of the details of the wedding and your thoughts and ideas!
Where in Jersey do you live? Where will the ceremony and reception be?

WELL....welcome welcome welcome!! It's great on here, you will get many ideas, support, strength, enocouragement etc etc etc from the wonderful ladies on this board....we look forward to hearing all about your upcoming big day!.....all wedding talk...all the time on here!!lol

Hey all...I'm a newbie from Cali. You are so right. What's up with the hate from the so-called friends. They seem to be dropping like flies. When you're single everyone wants to hang out at your house, but the moment you meet the love of your life you're friends scatter. Hmmm...I guess it's like mama used to say "you'll be able to count the true friends on one hand." Ok...I'm off my soap box...girl ya started something.
Ok...my stats:
-Gettin Hitched 10-14-07
-Location: Los Angeles; Rancho Palos Verdes (by the ocean) gorgeous!!!
-70 guest (intimate)
-Downtown LA has everything; Flowers, dresses, crafts...the meca! cheap cheap!
-DIY...flowers, centerpieces, invitations, cake topper, programs.
-Caterer...wonderful...he supplies all the tableware and glassware as well as linens.
-Decided to do it my way...forget Hollyweird!! and what the people say!
Love my man...he is truly a blessing from God.
I'm having a great time and I love these boards! You guys are awesome and I've learn so much in such a short time. I look forward to sharing.
