BOOKED FLORIST
Posted on: 02/21/2007 05:33 PM
I booked my florist today! I went with the lady from my previous post, and I feel so good about my decision. She was so helpful in giving me ideas on how to cut the cost and continue to have my desired look.

That's great news, Princess! I like the idea of a vendor helping the bride save money. Keep us informed on your progress.

Do you mind me asking how much and what's included? I'm always trying to keep tally of what's to come.

Sept did your florist hook you up from Muellers? How did it all come out or has she started yet?

Taj, I'm so stuck. I'm thinking it's going to be a lot of work for her. I have more flowers than what I originally thought. So, I'm thinking about having her do something, maybe the floral arrangements for the columns and having another florist do the real flowers. I don't know. I need to sit down and have a talk with her.

MsBoston I don't mind, this is what I'm getting:
Bridal bouq
5 BM bouq
2 bags of petals(for flower girl baskets I will provide)
brides mom, stepmom, dad, step-father, grandmother
grooms bout
5 groomsmen bout
2 ring bearer bout
grooms mom, dad, 2-grandmothers, grandfather,
1 reader pin in cluster
cake flowers
25 centerpieces-half tall/half table top with votives
toss bouquet
I am having all fresh flowers, like 6 different types. The price was like $2300 but we made some changes as far as the centerpiece, flower girls, and all the moms/grandmoms and got it down to $1900. This includes set-up, delivery of groom and his peeps to where he is, and girls flowers to wherever I am, the tall centerpiece glass vases, a mock BM bouq(1st fitting)and centerpiece when ready. Also, my centerpiece total may change once I get my final count in. If I only need 20 tables that will take another $200 off the price, which will probably happen! Hope this helps. Sorry so long.
