WELL, I'M PROBABLY THE YOUNGEST BRIDE, I'M FROM TEXAS, AND MY WEDDING IS 07-07-07. I JUST WANTED A FEW OPINIONS ON WHERE I SHOULD BE RIGHT NOW? WHAT SHOULD ALREADY BE DONE? YOU KNOW, THINGS LIKE THAT. I CAN'T WAIT TO READ YOUR RESPONSES!

Hi 07_Bride. I think by now you should have the following things done. However, I have seen weddings pulled off in 6 months. So, don't get discouraged if you haven't done these things.
1 - Select wedding/reception location
2 - Have your dress selected/ordered
3 - Have your photographer/videographer picked/reserved
4 - Select your DJ/musicians
5 - Reserved your limos
I'm sure there are some things that I'm missing. I just listed the major things.

You also should have an idea of what kind of feel you are going for and if not already, decide on colors so that you can go ahead and get your GM and BM's dresses chosen so they can be ordered. You are getting married in "wedding season" so you want to go ahead and get that marked off. Same for the dress. The dress makes all the difference!
I can always come here and get a laugh. I just love this site! Hopefully House and Askalot can stay out of the corner long enough to join the party -- LOL!!!!

Yes, 07-07-07 is my date as well but I can't take responsibility for picking it:(. FH GAVE me that date when he proposed. He'd done all the research and knew it was on a saturday. That was May 2004 after the little boy was born:) my Taj. I was quite a bit gun shy about getting married again, so he gave me until that date to get my stuff together and advsd me it was going to be our wedding date.

My mother actually set my date. I was only 17 when I got engaged, and my mom said we were too young, and bet not think about a wedding until "07, 07, 07" (meaning the year 2007) I looked at the calender, and found out that day was indeed on a Saturday. I talked it over with my FH, and now that is my wedding date! How special?!?
