Not so new topic
Posted on: 12/06/2006 02:47 PM
I know this was covered before, but I'm curious. What are some of the nicknames you have for your future hubby/hubby.

More recently, I've been calling him "daddy" -- people crack up laughing when they hear that. But he loves it -- LOL!!!!

I call my FH DADDY. A man likes to feel strog at all times strong and in charge of things. And being called daddy makes a man feel real good ecspecially if its coming from a woman and not a child.

I agree too. That's one reason why I call him Papi, can't tell you the other part.

(I didn't know so many women call their fhs or husband "daddy".)

One time my FH was trying to get me to call him daddy (you know the "who's your daddy" thing) but it really creeped me out.
Anyway, I've been calling him 'big guy' almost since day one. His friends used to trip out over it, now when I call his job it's, "big guy...phone".
guess it caught on.

I call him "mimi" (short for mine or that's me right there) or Hendo when he's in his "diesel" mode.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.

Don't they all have a "Diesel" or He-Man mode! My FH is freakishly strong so is favorite way to show off is to benchpress his younger brother (215 pounds of solid muscle) so I have to call him He-Man

Others:
When I want something: Babyyyyy/ or Daddy
When I did something wrong: Sweetie
When he is being a "man" like lifting tables being a caveman: Ca Neanderthal or He-Man

Usually: Pop, Babe, Pooh

My FH likes to be called Daddy too. I started calling him that when I found out I was pregnant and he didnt catch on until about a week after I started...LOL.He calls me Mommy for the same reason and when I nag him to do stuff or fix his clothes, you know motherly stuff we all do....Maybe soon after the wedding he will get to be called that again...hmmmm we will see.

I dont like him to call me Baby Girl becasue that is my mom's birth name.....Technically her name is BabyGirl but we call her Pamm (Pamela). My grandparents didnt name her in time so that was printed on her birth certificate.

We also call each other "Booga" or "SugaBooga". We got that from that cartoon Jimmy Neutron, his dad calls his mom "Sugar Booger"

*BUMP* for the newbies

During happy moments I call FH 'Baby' or since falling pregnant 'Daddy'. When I'm mad at him then I call him by his name.

In turn, he calls me 'MyLove' or 'Dee' - short for my name.

He has me as 'DeeLove' on his mobile while he is 'BabyLove' on mine.

I call FH by his name Stephen-everybody else calls him Steve or Stevie, he does get "baby" occasionally! :) he calls me momma or mommy (because that is what my son uses)sweet momma, poo poo (which I hate)baby and shorty (not for the slang term that they use now but because he is ALOT taller than me) He NEVER calls me by my name unless he is upset with me! :)

Since our engagement, my FH has been calling me "Mummy" and I call him "Papi". Prior to that, he would call me "Mimi" short for Mickaella and I would call him "Babe". I must admit though, he loves it when I call him "Papi", and not just when we're intimate. It's so easy to call him "Papi" though because he's so full of love.
