colors

Greetings to all the beautiful brides out there! blessings and hope all is going well. My October wedding has moved to April, 2006. Better in many ways,no less anxiety. My groom is "thinkin pink!" I've already said no pink tuxedoes; but it is his wedding, too. Ideas, advice, suggestions? I originally thought platinum and pearl, but that might be too "cold" for Spring. Thoughts?

He's thinkin' PINK??????? You lucky, lucky girl! Marry him tomorrow if you can! I just love the idea of that for a spring wedding. Platinum and pearl may put a chill on a Spring wedding but they are classics. ixnay on the inkpay uxedotay! lol

I agree with Rosetta, marry that man pink is a great color. I had originally chose purple & gold for my wedding, but now my colors have changed to Navy blue & platinum. I'm glad I changed, I just find that working with navy blue and platinum works better for me.

You could have them wear pink ties and vest. That would look good with either a white or black tux.

Hey, y'all!
I am here. Alive and well and at red Alert stress level!! Wedding 2 mnths away; details straggling. Groom caused a change of cloor crisis by selecting groomsmen attire on his own, before a decision was made! Decided to throw in my own surprise; Since maids dresses were changed to "ice', a sort of silver to accommodate his selections, I am wearing pink! only a few know about this--not hubby-to-be1 all flowers will be pink. Working on tabletop decor, now. cloths/underlays will alternate in a blk/gr/ palette--any suggestions? I am making each table slightly different.
Good luck and love to all! Oh, anyone know of a place to get a unique cake top?

Man-o-man..a ballgown is my favorite of all the wedding dress styles...I think it Camouflages wide/big hips and makes the waist line smaller than it actually is...my only concern is the straplessness. I am "big" arm conscience and I would preferr something with sleeves.

You could always wear a shawl or a shrug over one of these Charley. Besides, so what if you have curvy arms? I am sure your man loves 'em fine!
