Program dedication to Parents of Groom

Hey guys I just came across my program, and I'll post the dedication here that I added to it...I also printed it on beautiful stationary...and framed it with our wedding photo to give his parents...hope you guys can benefit from some/all of it.
When I first met you, I fell in love
and you smiled because
You knew
I have promised to love you forever, and in doing so, I also promise
my love and respect to those two people who have nurtured you, taught you,
and prepared you for this time and place. To you, the mother of my husband, I
promise to love and protect this son, who is always a part of your heart,
who came from your body, whose life is a part of your life.
I will be as strong in his life as wife, as you have been
as mother.
To his father, I pledge to trust this man who now and
forever stands beside me. I thank you for his wit, for his knowledge, and for teaching
him the good sense to wait until the best came along. I love him, and wish to be
with him forever, and for that love, I am also grateful to you.
I am pleased to be a part of your family, and that you are
now a part of mine.

change the last sentence to something more along the lines of "your memory will continue to live on in our hearts forever....for it is because of you, I have received such a blessing"
give or take something...just because they are not in this physical realm, does not mean that we no longer honor them.... :)
