The Wedding Song - John P Kee
Posted on: 07/26/2006 04:11 PM
This is what my bridal party will march to.

Verse
On this wedding day
I'm honored just to say
I love you
With all of my heart
As you walk my way
I vowed I'd never stray
I promise
That we'll never part
I was raised to believe
That a man should never cry
But this tear in my eye
Let's you know I'm satisfied
So today I take you as my bride

Chorus
Let us cherish this hour
Our love forever, Amen
So let us cherish this hour
We'll never be lonely again
As the Lord allowed our lives
To intertwine
It's a blessing just to know
Forever and always
You will be mine

Verse
I wait so long to find
A love that would be mine
Then God sent you
My searching it is through
I know you're heaven sent
Nobody else could compliment
My calling the way that you do
I'm so glad we can share this day
With all of our friends and family
As they begin to stand
And I extend to you my hand
In holy matrimony

Chorus

Vamp
Predestined hour
Our love forever
We'll stay together
Forever

I am yours and
You are mine, you are mine

I now pronounce you man and wife

it IS a pretty song. I have not heard it but the lyrics are lovely. I love john p kee though. His song Be Encouraged has helped me out through many a trying time.

My bridal party is marching in on a song called "Best Friend", which is on the same album as Askalot's "The Wedding Song".

I totally passed FML's response, I don't know how. FML, you're a mess girl.

Rhony, did you decide if this song is going to be a part of your ceremony?

I'm using the song "Best Friend" from that album. I won't be using the wedding song, although it is very nice.

Askalot, I just asked one of my coworkers if his male quartet could sing that during the ceremony. I love this song!

This will either be for the bridal party to come in to or for the dancers to dance to. Not sure which yet. I have to decide soon so the dancers can practice if this is it.

Yup, we are having dancers. A husband and wife team who are absolutely fabulous. At the end of the dance, I want to have them finish by pulling the runner down the aisle.

I am looking instrumental music for the song "The Wedding Sony" by John P. Kee, "The Prayer" by Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams and "You and I" by Stevie Wonder. I have a soloist that needs the background music only.

Try your local music store. They usually carry sheet music and if they don't have it, they should be able to order it for you.

I am looking for the actual music without the words on CD, so the solist has background music to hear.
