Anyone have any suggestions on some inexpensive bridesmaids gifts? I have to buy 13. 5 bridemaids, 2 candlelighters, 4 hostesses, and 2 gift attendants

After looking through about 5-6 magazines, I have found a lot of ideas. Gift certificates are always great (10-15 dollars towards a manicure or pedicure, or a facial for women, or a Wal-Mart of Target for men and women), also there are lots of inexpensive jewelry options-Things Remembered may give you a discount if you purchase-I think 100.00 worth of items (incl. engravings). A cute mini purse or clutch works....If you know a Mary Kay person in your area, she can get you some great pampering sets (men and women) at a great price if you buy a lot from her....You can buy the girls a hair ornament or earrings for the occasion, you can get the guys some very inexpesnive cufflinks...check out the internet or magazines if you have time! Swing by Target for awesome gift items....
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

I made gift bags for a client. They cost less than $15 a piece. A canvas bag with their name on it filled with; 8 bottles of revlon nail polish, make-up brushes, mini-manicure set, pedi foams, beach slippers, eye mask, purse mirror. The all screamed when they opened them.

Great ideas ladies! I gave my bridal party sterling silver cubic zirconia earring and necklace sets that they will be wearing on my wedding day (Under $18 from Walmart).

Also included in their gift bag will be slippers, cute little sewing kits (purchased from this site). Lastly, each will receive a bridal emergency kit (purchased from ebay).

Thanks alot ladies! I thought about getting them a bag from Totes. It's the cheapest I've seen. They bridesmaids and candlelighters already have the jewelry. I was thinking about going to Hobby Lobby and buy the crystal looking first initial and put it on their bags. I don't care what anyone says. Women need extra bags!

the bags are very very nice. You can also throw a bridal party massage party as a thank you. I did this for mothers day. I called it the "Honor Thy Mother Mothers Day Brunch". Secret! keep this on the low:: I attended massage therapy school *shhhh* and if you have a school in your area that has a massage therapy program you can contact them to get in touch with a few students close to graduating (so u know they have some clinical experience) and ask if they are interested in the party. Most of them are very interested because it allows them an opportunity to build clientele and gain exposure for when they graduate. Here in California if you are not licensed, it is illegal for you to charge for the service provided, however, you can accept tips. I also invited some aesthetician students to provide facials and nail tech students for mani/pedis. Myself and one of my culinary school buddies cooked all of the food for the brunch.

Your bridesmaids get a day of pampering, you get the satisfaction of knowing you have saved oodles of money and given them a relaxing day and helped out some poor student.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way. ~ Pablo Neruda

*BUMP* for newbies
my bridal party will be receiving their wedding day jewelery (necklace & earrings), a jewelery box with their names engraved and I ordered the cherry blossom note pads from ViBride store. trying to think if I need to add more or stop here. I think I am giving my teen hostess money...do you guys think this is appropriate for them or should I give them something else? I thought about restaurant gift card but unless I give them enough for 2 who will go and eat alone???

I think she'll take the money and run but maybe a gift card might be better. Like something for itunes if she has an i pod. Or you could go to drjays.com. It's like a hood mall online, and see what they have in the range you want to spend.

My BMs all have such different personalities, I'll be getting them gift certificates to different places. I was going to put the gift cards in Coach wristlets but I have 2 or 3 that wouldn't use them! So my MOH and Matron will get the wristlets with a gift card, and the rest will get the gift cards with something else they'll use. I like the idea of a "Pamper Party" using final year massage and cosmotology students so that may be an option as well.
