This is my first time here. I've been browsing through the forums and when I came here, I just had to comment on the brooms. I made my own wedding broom for way lower than what they are offering on the site. I bought the broom at Michaels for under $2. The ribbon, with the different sizes and styles may have cost me $6-$8. The flowers were on sale as well. You can also get those from the dollar store. All you need is a hot glue gun and some creativity and you've saved tremendously. Not too mention, it's your own personal touch.

Hi, Thanks for the welcome! You would be surprised at what you could do. I am the bride on a serious budget. I've made my own save the date magnets, unity candles, invitations, and cd favors. Wow, I didn't realize until I put it down that I've been busy. I got engaged in October, and my date is August 27,'06. So, we all have some creativity in us. You just have to take the time to bring it out. Or, like me try to save a few bucks! lol
Welcome Sweetie! You gonna have me lookin in Micheals for brooms..I never thought about making my own. My first thought was to look on ebay for brooms. I found a few I like for like $25 and up but if I can make it that would be even better....If I cant get any creative thoughts in my head I can copy the ones I saw on ebay or get someone to help me.
