Rose Petal Basket

Do It Yourself Crafts & Accessories: Mark the bride's way up the down the aisle with delicate silk rose petals carried in a matching basket.
Materials List
Bridal Elegance Ribbon, 5/8-inch, Ivory, 1 roll
Ceramic Roses, Lt. Pink, 6
Ribbon Roses
 , Small, Ivory, 6
Spray Pearl Pips, White, 6 pieces
Tulle, 6-inch, White, 1 roll
Petals, Cream/Pink, 1 box
Basket, small, with handle
Floral tape, white
Glue gun
Glue sticks
Scissors
Wire cutters
Wire, 28 guage
Cost of each project will vary depending on materials used.
Instructions:
Tie a multi-loop bow from ribbon, leaving long streamers. Wire through center.
Make tulle puffs by cutting tulle into 10-inch long pieces. Gather tulle in center and fold in half. Wrap wire around the fold to create puff. Trim tulle evenly if necessary.
Make two floral clusters: gather three ribbon roses, three ceramic tulips with leaves, four pearl pip sprays and one tulle puff. Wrap stems together with white floral tape. Tape floral cluster to handle of basket. Add a bit of glue to hold in place if necessary.
On one side of basket handle, wire bow in place and tape over wire with floral tape. Glue in place if necessary.
Glue ribbon over top of handle, tucking ends under flower clusters.
Fill basket with petals.
Project Tips
This project can be made with a basket of any shape or size to accommodate even the smallest of flower girls. Ribbon colors may be changed to match dresses.
